Outside, short steps up lead to the large, sunny terrace which surrounds the pool. Beside the pool is a shaded area which leads into the large lawned garden with olive trees and palms. The villa is a few minutes stroll to the local bakery for fresh bread and delicious pastries (and ice-cream). There is also a well stocked local shop and petrol station a short walk away. Step beyond the villa to enjoy the quiet lanes and tracks through the woods and olive groves and enjoy the sound of Greek goat bells in the distance! The picturesque harbour village of Agia Effimia is only a few minutes drive away. Agia Effimia has a great selection of tavernas, cafes and bars. If you wish to stay closer to home to eat and drink, there are two lovely local tavernas in walking distance (a little further up the mountain) and a new bar - only a 2 minute walk away!
