A romantic, more upscale eating experience is Bull Valley Roadhouse, ideal for anniversaries and birthday parties . Have a drink, sitting at the bar, a tourist attraction in itself, with Tiffany lamps, brought down from the Gold Rush country, by the Port Costa house owner’s grandmother- perfect for the early California Barbary Coast decor. Port Costa owners uncle opened Bull Valley Inn ( now Roadhouse) originally in the mid 1960s. Drive 3 miles to Crockett & discover: Nantucket, local seafood and drinks favorite, by the fishing boats on the pier. The Dead Fish, on San Pablo Avenue (at Pomona Street at freeway ramp from Hwy 80) is an upscale SF chain for glitzy cocktails & fish dinners with bay, Zampa Bridge & Naval Academy water views. Port Costa was featured with a 2 page layout in the January 2014 issue of Sunset Magazine page 16 Mais

Sobre o bairro
Prospect Avenue remains unchanged since the 1890s . Our house is the top most home on the street and appears in the earliest existing photographs of the town during its heyday as a busy grain exporting port. Then the 1906 eatrhquake destroyed the piers down at the waterfront. The street itself is quiet and has one of a kind homes and interesting gardens. There is a mall walkway straight down the hill to the town below where the historic Burlington Hotel and honey house coffee shop, Bull Valley Road House and the Warehouse Cafe all do brisk weekend business. Our village is a popular destination on weekends for San Francisco and Greater Bay area locals wanting and easy get away. Two Barbary Coast style bars, 2 restaurants. Short bike or drive away- fish (no license required), picnic &...
