This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail & Taith Ardudwy Way very close, whilst the Wales Coast Path passes the front door! For those seeking a little more challenge Cadair Idris lies at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, and Snowdon can be reached in less than an hour.
If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast railway – one of the UK’s most scenic railway routes all the way along this glorious coast line – or maybe one of the famous narrow-gauge steam railways that proliferate in this corner of Wales?
ACCOMMODATION:
Entering from the rear of the building up the metal fire escape the apartment is on the second floor. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The main open-plan living area enjoys fabulous views, framed by the big bay window. With carpet flooring, high cornice ceilings & feature fireplace this room is really something special! In front of the bay window are 2 easy chairs to enjoy the views.
The sitting area has cosy leather seating for 4 guests, including a 2 seater sofa, 1 armchair and a large 'pouffe' foot stool with hidden storage. Books and games are provided.. There is ‘Panasonic’ 40” flat-screen TV with Freeview and a SKY package.
The kitchen area next to the living area is defined by a breakfast bar / archway and features laminate flooring. The kitchen has newly fitted kitchen units with wood block-look worktops, ‘Shaker cream gloss style’ units, a built in oven, electric hob & extractor hood over, microwave and, fridge/freezer box. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect in a well presented holiday home.
Hallway
In the hallway is a dining area, where there is a lovely oak, dining table with 4 chairs and a side board.
The hallway leads to the bedrooms.
Bedroom ONE - sleeps 2
With king -size ‘brass style’ bed, twin mirror wardrobe with shelves and hanging space, 5 drawer chest of drawers. Storage heater. Carpeted.
Bedroom TWO - sleeps 2
With adult size bunk beds, double wardrobe with shelves, window with harbour and estuary views. Electric heater. Carpeted.
Family Shower room
Electric shower and glass enclosure, pedestal wash hand basin, toilet, floor & wall tiling, heated towel rail and mirror.
Additional information:
It is the guests’ responsibility to insure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise.
There is no designated parking, but there is plenty of parking nearby and guests have the use of a parking permit, so no additional cost to you.
Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights.
Changeover day is SATURDAY in the main season.

Originally, Barmouth was a tiny hamlet built almost entirely on the rock over-looking the river mouth and frequented by pirates. The sea receded, access improved and a small fishing and ship building industry grew. In the 19th. Century the railway came and Barmouth and almost immediately it embraced tourism and expanded. Surrounded by The Snowdonia National Park, Barmouth is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you are looking for. Whatever you are into: fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, mountain biking, bird watching, painting, landscape photography or horse riding, there are endless scenic places to explore. Barmouth has two public astro turf tennis courts, a basket ball pitch and skateboard ramp.
