Guests have private access to their room, and bath. they also share kitchen with other guests. The condo has no living room. Interaction with Guests The host work at home on the upper floor. so if you need anything, we are always around. The office work hours are: everyday, 7 am to 11:30 pm. If you need anything in other time, please inform us during regular office hours. The Neighborhood the neighborhood is called shaw. it is very centrally located in dc with long history, modern, hippy and diverse. Getting Around one block to metro (green and yellow line, shaw south entrance, not shown in Goog1e map). multiple transport modes: subway metro, taxi, bus, bike(bike share station close by), uber/lyft, rental car (zipcar or getaround), and above all, Walking (walk score 95/100, we walk everywhere). Other Things to Note 1. We are new host and learning. 2. TV: it has an antenna for local stations, and Netflix. it is a new Samsung 48 inch UHTV (4k). 3. Steel bunker bed, sturdy and new. Lower level is full size 55'x75', memory form mattress. Top level is twin size: 38'x75'. 4. No private parking space. You may be able to get a residential parking permit from our local police station for free. So you can park on street for 2 weeks. But if you want us to get it for you, we charge $20. Just tell us your car tag number. Zone 2 is the most central parking permit in DC. See the photo for the map of zone 2 residential parking area in dc. Even with this permit, you have to read and follow the parking sign carefully. If you pay us $20, we will get you a residential parking permit on street (zone 2). But our responsibility is only getting a valid parking permit for you. Correct parking and ticketing are Not our responsibility. Our local police station info: Third District Station 1620 V Street, NW Washington, DC 20009 Phone number: (202) 673-68l5 /5. Airport: DCA (National Reagan), take yellow line metro, exit at Shaw Howard, south exit (8 & R). One block south, turn right on Q street 6. This is a legal unit, and registered with DC government.
