Perfect!!
My husband, parents and I stayed here for 3 nights, it was close to everything. Market and restaurants were a few steps away. St. Mark's square was about an 8 minute walk (if you don't get lost). The apartment was huge for our needs but we wanted the extra space. Everything was clean and modernly decorated. Sylvia provided excellent directions on how to get to S.M. del Giglio water taxi station from the train station. Once at S.M del Giglio, we were met with Giacamo. It was a 2 min walk from there to the apartment.

Perfect in Every Way!
The apartment is located near S. Maria del Giglio station. We were met there by Sylvia, who was a fabulous and informative host, and from there it was a short walk to the apartment - even with a lot of luggage, it was an easy walk. Sylvia did a walk-through of the apartment and armed us with some useful information to begin our adventure in Venice - thank you again for everything Sylvia! The apartment itself is located right on a small and quiet canal; in fact, the whole area is blissfully quiet, which is in contrast to the fact that it is located within minutes of San Marco!
As you enter the apartment, there is a large vestibule area that contains brand new laundry facilities (washer and dryer) as well as an iron and ironing board. Continuing inside, there is a large bedroom with double bed, with a good-sized ensuite. Heading up a short flight of 5 or 6 stairs, there are two massive bedrooms, each with its own fully-equipped bathroom. All bedrooms have hotel-style linen - white, crisp, clean and luxurious. There is also a large living area and a practical and modern kitchen.
The apartment is perfect. Loads of natural light, luxuriously appointed in every way, exceptionally clean, and fully functional - everything works!
Even better is the location. It is literally a 5-10 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. We started every morning with a pre-sunrise walk to the square - the light is fabulous and there is no-one around. There are many coffee shops, gelato bars, restaurants and a two supermarkets within easy walking distance. Everything is within easy walking distance. You could not hope for a better location! This apartment is now my number one choice for accommodation in Venice and I would highly recommend it for parties of up to 6 guests.

Awesome apartment in the heart of Venice! Typical with handsome deco. A great “luxury” rental!
We spent 4 days in this apartment in Venice. The location is perfect: in the center of Venice, its typical shops and 5/10 minutes from San Marco. Beyond its location, the apartment is well designed and very comfortable to live with 6 people: a large central living room, 3 rooms spaced with double beds each having their own bathroom (same comfort as in the hotel) and a full-equipped kitchen. The most: modern style decoration respecting the codes of "Venetian apartments". A soothing stay. Luxury in its simplicity!
