Hi. I´m travelling with my wife and we´ll spend 8 days in Israel (central to south), then we will border cross to Jordan (Éilat - Aqaba) and spend 10 days in Jordan, then we will border cross AGAIN to Israel (Sheikh Hussein Bridge) and spend 8 more days in Israel (north to central).
So, as you can see, we´ll have a divided trip and we´ll cross the border twice during the trip.
Problem is, the "unlimited national park pass" will not be so good to us, since the (more than) two weeks we´ll stay in Israel are not continuous at all and the ticket will expire before we could do the second israeli half of the trip.
I noticed there´s an "yearly pass" for the parks, but I´m not sure where to buy it. Can I buy it in the first park´s entrance??? Do all the parks sell it?
Also, I noticed when I leave Israeli border I´ll pay an "exit fee" that costs 110 NIS. Is that correct? Will I have to pay it again when I leave Israel for good? I don´t understand this fee. Some countries charge a touristic fee when you ENTER the country, what is not cool but it´s totally understandable, once every country has the sovereign right to establish whatever conditions they want to let you in. But a fee to let you leave? If I don´t pay the fee, will they keep me inside the country even if I´m not a citizen, even if the visa is about to expire?
Well, ok, this is not the point of the question. I wanna know if this fee is correct and if I´ll have to pay it twice, once my travel plan is a "circle" around the dead sea.
I´d appreciate any help!
