This is not a question but a review of our stay. My wife and I found this Inn back in April 2006. We stopped for breakfast on our way to the Isle of Skye. We weren't impressed with Skye and left there after a few hours and were back at Cluanie Inn in the late afternoon. We were so impressed with our earlier breakfast we booked in for the night and had a most wonderful meal and some beautiful single malts to round off a most memorable stay.
I would thoroughly recommend this as a pit stop to anyone in the area.
We happened to be served by two young girls who came from Ipswich, Queensland, Australia which is near where we live. They had only been working there for about 3 weeks and were so thrilled to see a couple of Aussies they hoisted the Australian flag outside on one of the flag poles. We were able to get a couple of photos of them and let their mums know that they were safe and well on the other side of the world!
We loved this place, one of the highlights of our three weeks car tour around the British Isles.
