Ótimas instalações. Ficamos na suíte com vista para o mar e centro. Hotel com uma piscina excelente, porém sem aquecimento, em junho agua ainda fria. Bom café da manhã, recebíamos na varanda do quarto...incrível! Boa localização. Staffs super prestativos e gentis. Recomendado...

We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. P for staying with us for five days at the Aquamarine Suite in the month of May of 2015. Over the years we have received thousands of guests from all over the world and it is obvious that we - given the vast variety of cultures and personalities - have had to learn to adapt to most needs and temperaments. This is, to a great extent what receiving guests at a holiday destination is all about. We are proud to say that the vast majority of our guests have been happy, some very much so, with their choice of Santa Maria. This is also reflected in our ratings on this site. Still, it can be expected that some travellers will simply envision a completely different experience than the one they encounter here in Milos and at the Santa Maria Resort. It is also perfectly understandable that some visitors will exercise their right to write a review about their experience and express their thoughts (and sometimes their emotions). It is rarely the case that we respond to such reviews - good or bad - because we believe that in the end, the effect of our efforts will be reflected in an overall impression which is representative of the truth. In this case, however, we believe that, in order to do justice to our work and our establishment we should help other readers form an opinion (and draw their own conclusions about the information contained in this review), by making the following observations: - Mr. and Mrs. P couple came accompanied by a young child, despite the fact that they had not made arrangements for this during their reservation. At first they insisted that they had made arrangements and that this was our mistake. When we presented the respective correspondence, they acknowledged the fact that they had forgotten to mention the third person. The suite had to be prepared for this late in the evening of their arrival. They were never charged the additional cost for the extra bed. - On the second day of their stay (Sunday) they wanted to cook risotto. They asked where they could buy ingredients for their cooking. We told them that supermarkets are closed in Milos on Sundays. They were displeased. We ended up providing them with all the materials available in the hotel (rice, tomatoes, onions, oil, etc.) so that they could cook - free of charge obviously, as we would never charge for something like this. - Then Mr. and Mrs. P insisted on having breakfast at 7am, though breakfast is served throughout the hotel between 8am - 10:30am. This was simply not possible for obvious reasons. They were displeased. - On the first couple of days of their stay Mr. and Mrs. P kept asking for additional servings of freshly squeezed orange juice. We obliged. On the third day we politely told them that breakfast includes one glass of freshly squeezed orange juice per person, and that additional orders would have to be charged. They were angry and complained about the quantity and quality of the juice. - Finally, on every day of their stay Mr. and Mrs. P consumed all the items in the minibar. At the end of their stay, when it was time for them to pay the bill, they said that they were not aware that minibar items are charged - that they thought they were complimentary. We went ahead and deducted those items from their bill. They were displeased nonetheless. Given our exchange with Mr. and Mrs. P we are inclined not to engage in a discussion concerning their judgements on the decoration and style of our suites, or the personality of our manager. Nor do we wish to characterise their decision to post a snapshot of the suite as they left it every day for housekeeping to sort out and suggest that this is the “real way the suite looks”. Furthermore, we fail to comprehend the reason(s) why they wrote not one, but two reviews, one each, both rated “terrible”. We are deeply sorry because it is obvious that Mr. and Mrs. P were not at all satisfied with their stay. We will take a long, hard look at each point made in their review(s) and, for those points which are reasonable, address any possible shortcomings on our part. On the same token we do reserve the right to question the reasoning behind some of their demands. We do take pride in our establishment, which is our life’s work, and will voice our objections over excessive, unreasonable or questionable criticism.
