I have been an entire month and will continue my stay during July at this excellent place. I prise its management and the motel staff for their commitment and dedication to make guests feel like home. Very clean and cozy rooms newly remodeled; great service and attendance. Every time I request anything; they are right there to meet it and get it done quickly. Awesome and wonderful personnel and manager!

I found the Downtown Motel Woodward by chance. I organized a place to stay for 18 people on a trip put on by a non profit I’m associated with. My first communication was with the manager Jose. From the beginning he was very helpful. The rooms are recently remodeled and very clean. Comfortable beds and in room refrigerator and coffee pot. If you are looking for a clean place to get a good nights rest. This is it.

We were in Woodward for a hunting trip. Needed assistance with multiple accommodations. Management helped outsource food services and other amenities! Will return for our next area trip! Comfortable beds/rooms already cool upon check in.

We like to stay in locally owned properties while traveling whenever possible. The Downtown Motel did not disappoint! Recently remodeled - the rooms were clean and comfortable - no complaints! We had reservations for 3 rooms for a one night stay. The day before we were to arrive, the owner contacted us to confirm, due to a maintenance issue. On arrival, the maintenance issue was a still a concern. He was able to accommodate our group with a slight change, and gave us a discount for our trouble. All of our group had stayed previously once or twice under the previous owners. The new owner has done a great job with an older property to remodel it. We have no complaints! If you are looking for a fancy chain, go to a fancy chain. If you are looking for a reasonably priced room, that is clean and comfortable, stay here. The added touch is the included breakfast in the diner. The choices are limited on the menu, but all is freshly made. You have the option to order from the entire menu and pay the difference. Our server did not understand English well, but my limited Spanish helped! We will definitely stay here when in the area!…

There were several things about the Downtown Motel that we did not care for. First of all - ladies, be aware that they do NOT have hair-dryers in the rooms or available to borrow from the front desk! Although, I was told later that if I had gone to the nearby WalMart and purchased a hair-dryer to use, they would have reimbursed me! Wish I'd known that before I stood out in the wind and heat to dry my hair! We would have enjoyed having a TV channel listing guide in the room too. The bathroom was tiny, but, thankfully, there was a sink outside of the toilet/shower area. It would have been nice if there had been a towel-rack by the sink, but there was not. We made a list of about 11 items that the room needs, and gave it to the manager when we checked-out. It wasn't a very expensive place to stay, but we stayed there because we noticed online that it was given a 5-star rating!! Must have been friends and family of the owners/managers because we would have stayed in another hotel if we'd known. I must say that the provided, included in the room price, breakfast the next morning, was pretty good. Our server, we don't think, understood a lot of English though - there were several things that we had to have redone, rebrought, etc. It was an okay overnight stay though.…

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I would like to reply to some of the comments your made. 1. All reviews that we have, are from satisfied guests that have stayed with us, we don't have the need to have anyone give us fake reviews. 2. I offered to reimburse you for the cost of the hairdryer the night before you checked out and you declined the offer. 3. The list of recommendations of items you though were important for us to have, I gave it to the owners and we are working on implementing them. Sorry you were not satisfied with our motel since we are not the brand of hotel/motel you are accustomed to stay at. If you have anymore concerns, feel free to contact me at 580-256-6486
