Friendly owners and a very well clean place. Small site, quiet no bars and clubs. Just a place to chill out. Showers / toilets are very clean. Everything available what you need for a holiday. We would come back again.
Only stayed one night and site was fine for that. Wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay - you can hear the A21 traffic and there are a lot of long stayers on the site. Even on a warm sunny weekend in June we were the only tourers so you dont get the campsite atmosphere. Facilities were clean, staff were pleasant. 15 minute walk along country lane to pub in Sedlescombe for a lovely meal.
Spotless clean, modern warm showers & toilet facilities (the best I’ve seen for any campsite). However the park is let down by constant traffic noise from the nearby main road and the completely unwelcoming and rather unfriendly owner. Far too many signs everywhere listing all the numerous rules too. Won’t stay there again because of that.
We hired a campervan and headed to Meadowview as we were visiting the Taylor Carr Vineyards. We arrived to a warm welcome in reception and quickly found a pitch. The toilet block was always clean and staff seemed to be in there several times a day. The washing up area was clean, tidy and plentiful with a washing machine and dryer on site. I had read previous reviews but always like to make my own mind up as an unfriendly review might be actually be left by an unfriendly person.... With the A21 close by you do hear traffic but I found the natural beauty of the birds singing in the trees above us make the traffic noise insignificant. The site is surrounded by beautiful woodland and it’s a wonderful safe site for everyone using it. We will be back to further explore this area and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.…
On arrival we were greeted with an un friendly un welcoming lady who gave us vague instructions where to go , as we set up on a not so hard standing pitch as we thought we had booked (very muddy ) we tuned in tv to get no channels, I asked the lady about this and she merely shrugged her shoulders and said there was no signal due to the trees . I would have been more organised if I had known this and bought dvds with us . I found the whole experience in helpful and will not be returning to this site
