BEWARE! This company engages in false advertising, retail fraud, and bad customer relations. Their website boasts “premium accommodations” in their “quiet and secluded resort”. They post photos and floor plans to choose a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom log cabin with a covered porch, or lodge accommodations that are 3-bedrooms. They promise “luxury” private cabins of “highest quality”, “high end appliances”, and amenities. After viewing the website, emailing a request for a 2-bedroom log cabin, and talking via a phone call that assured a 2-bedroom private luxury cabin, I made a deposit of $300. When I arrived on site no manager was present, but via a phone call I learned that my cabin was #1B and the door was unlocked and cabin was ready. It took another phone call to discover that I was NOT assigned a 2-bedroom cabin. I was horrified to find I had been assigned one room in a barn! The studio room was smelly, dirty, and only contained one bed. The bed coverings appeared stained and dirty, the window blinds were badly damaged and provided no secure privacy, the pull-out couch was scratched and no linens were provided. The “high end” refrigerator appeared as if it had been used for target practice, and no “amenities” were visible. When the manager appeared I said that the room was not acceptable, I could not stay, and I want my $300 deposit returned. Via email I later learned that my deposit would not be refunded, and “We cannot guarantee which cabin guests will get”. I have filed a credit card dispute and I will continue my fight for fairness. As a frequent traveler I have never been charged for not accepting false or unsatisfactory accommodations. AVOID THIS PLACE!…
This can only be a 1 star at best, if there was lower rating I would use it. As other people have said, show up and don't have reservations. I paid my deposit and asked several times for a confirmation and local phone number. After 6 days the guy could not supply the information. It is funny the listed local number go to him, which he is in Canada or other places. There is some funny business going on!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY
In July I booked and PAID for a 7 day stay for a hunting trip this week. When we arrived to check in, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled. I’m certain that our week was given away for a monthly rental. I get that, but to not contact me prior to arriving is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, Anywhere! Not only did you fail to contact me but you kept and used my money from July (when reservation was made) until October when I showed up to check in. As you know, finding lodging is nearly impossible in Watford City and luckily we were able to sleep in a family members living room. Hands down, the worst customer experience in which I’ve ever been involved.
