I loved staying here. Cute and cosy cabin. Lovely quite neighbourhood. Owner would go out of his way to say hello and ask if there is anything I need. Comfy bed/pillow. Decor was minimal and well done. Grounds were well maintained. Close to walk into town
On our recent road trip we stayed for 3 days at the Granite Belt Cabins in Stanthorpe. What a gem of a find for those travelling with their pets. Host Michelle made us feel very much at home and was especially welcoming to Luther our German Shepherd puppy. The air conditioned cabin was clean and spacious. Check in was easy and we were able to park outside our door. The gardens are well maintained and the property has a communal kitchen and a covered barbeque area (dogs allowed). The shared lounge is welcoming with comfy lounge chairs sprawled around the fireplace. The rooms include a flat screen TV, a private bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities with a small fridge. The bed was very comfortable - more comfortable than many 4 or 5 star resorts we have stayed at. We had a small lawn area next to our cabin to walk the puppy. The cabins are located close to the town centre and a short drive to the Lions Park at Quart Pot Creek (dog friendly park). Looking forward to returning next time we visit Stanthorpe.…
We have stayed a couple of times now & will definitely be back. Rooms have been decorated to give a more homely feel. Very comfy bed, good air-conditioning for summer & winter (we have tried both now). TV is a bit small but not too bad. Comfy furnishings. On the down side, during this stay our cabin was quite noisy. We actually thought they were renovating next door but found it was people with small children. Fortunately off to sleep early. Shower was a bit temperamental but everything was lovely & clean. Huge bonus for us is that we could take our puppa with us. He is happy there. Plenty of green area for a walk. Very friendly owners.
We are so glad we booked a cabin here. The staff are really wonderful and the location is near enough (but not too near) to the town centre. The cabins are well maintained, very cute and unique, very private and have everything you need.
Staying 3 nights over Easter. Check in was easy. Lots of parking spaces outside accommodation. Room is basic but very clean and tidy. First time in ages I haven’t had a bad back from not sleeping in my own bed. Good informative brochure in the room for things to do and see. Ample tea, coffee, toiletries etc provided. A large shared industrial kitchen area with gas/electric cookers if you like to socialise with other guests. Only suggestions I would make is for fly/security screens on the windows so that you could keep the windows open (only an issue for me because mozzies and biting insects love me!) and a small pool would be nice.
