The location of the Art hotel is great, in the heart of El Plobado, the place to be if you are visiting Medellín as a tourist, just a block from the busy Parque Lleras with loads of bars and restaurants.
The Art hotel has all the looks, attractive facade and entrance, modern centre courtyard where all the rooms come out to and a very nice rooftop bar and restaurant area (also breakfast). There are two room types. One with windows facing the street and rear, and another facing the centre courtyard, the latter without possibility to open the windows. All rooms look nice and have airco. Large comfortable beds and good sized and well equipped bathrooms. The rooms are clean. On party nights it can be noisy on the street side. So far so good, but there are a few flaws.
Biggest annoyance is the extremely slow check in. 15min is fast (we stayed 2 times, 20 and 25 min check in time). Smaller annoyances are the too many small issues linked to the state of repair of the hotel. Just a selection: Airco failed 2 nights in a row, bathroom taps and shower screens hanging loose, shades not working, pass key did not work, room safe did not work, and a lot more small things that can easily be fixed but make the hotel tired. Staff was friendly and helpful. To receive more stars, improvements need to be made. We stayed in several nights in 4 different rooms so this is not a one off.

Un hotel busness sympa et une architecture tres bien realiser. Un tres belle decoration.
Le bemol les receptionistes qui ne prennent pas les demandes au serieux voir a la rigolade. Arriver 30 minutes avant le check in la reponse sans meme verifier a ete les check i sont a 3pm...assez froid le premier contact...dommage
Le serveur du bar et du petit dejeuner est tres sympa et tres bon service de ca part.

We had a pleasant two night stay here in August. Room was spacious and had everything you needed though it could have done with a refurb - peeling paint, old looking shower and bath etc.
You need to have your wits about you when staying here and not be phased by having to deal with problems. We had issues with accessing the safe once locked on several occasions, noise from the rooftop bar during the night and they tried to make us pay twice for the room when we'd pre-paid. When we queried the payment a second bill without the room charge appeared very quickly. Also inconsistent messaging with how to pay for services arranged by the hotel - whether it was cash to the driver or the cost would be on the hotel bill.
It just felt like you had to watch your back too often to have a relaxing stay.

Die Lage ist top in El poblado... Aber für den Preis .. Roof top Terrasse nicht geöffnet . Spa ziemlich klein . Frühstück Basic . Personal freundlich aber auch nicht mehr . Zimmer ok aber sehr ringhörig.. Badezimmer auch ganz nett .. Würde wieder hin im Notfall aber gibt bessere Optionen .. .................................. Medellin ist schon klasse

Esta súper bien ubicado! Queda a dos cuadras del Parque Lleras y la calle Primavera. Es un hotel tranquilo. Las habitaciones que dan atrás son bien oscuras, pero lindas y cómodas. El servicio está bien. El restaurante del hotel no es tan rico, es mejor salir a comer por fuera. Fue una buena experiencia.
