Apologies for long review but credit should be given where it is due. What better way to start your stay than an ever smiling greeting face i.e., Bhavsinh. During our three day stay never have we seen Bhavsinh greet us without a smile and was more than helpful in assisting us with our stay and helping us in recommending the do's and dont's. He is very polite and made our stay pleasant. What stands RVR DINDI apart from its peers is its staff and their desire to help customers and ease their stay. Folks at the main desk especially Venkat and Vinay helped us in suggesting places to visit near by and things to do in and around Dindi. Every evening Mr. Tulsi Ram and chef Julius along with staff would visit us and ask for day review and food review. They made sure the adjustments to palate was done and feedback is taken for betterment. Food was a bit expensive but was exquisite. Over and all RVR Dindi exceeded our expectations above and beyond and hope to see the folks at Dindi in Dindi soon. Thumbs up for all the staff and a big recommendation for my end. Do visit this place for its serenity, lush green surroundings and the pond facing view. Cheers.

The resort is probably the best stay I've had so far in terms of the beauty of the property. It's been crafted to look very natural and like some sort of paradise floating in a lily pond. We had a unique opportunity to see the Amazonian lily bud opening to a magnificent white flower fit for gods. And imagine my delight at seeing it turn pink on the second night! Wonder of wonders! The Godavari river flows serenely at the back of the property with a wooden cabana to soak in the tranquility. The food was handcrafted to perfection and special care was taken by the executive chef Mr Julius to ensure that the food was catered exactly to our taste. The seafood and the produce was of excellent quality. As a family, we had a great time while exploring the property. The horse buggy was fun especially for kids. The pool was closed due to covid restrictions. We played table tennis and shuttle badminton. The staff was attentive to our needs and made our stay that much more pleasurable. Special mention to Bhavsinh.

I am not a big fan of using the loosely-used label of ‘Hidden Gem’, but this jewel of a hotel in east Godavari certainly deserves that tag. Nestled in the lap of nature on the banks of the gorgeous Godavari river, this boutique beauty is wrapped around by cute coconut plantations and pristine backwaters. If these natural embellishments don’t tickle your senses, the picturesque ponds loaded with beautiful lilies and lotuses that adorn the property, certainly would. From one angle the sprawling premises felt like a jungle lodge in the unexplored wilderness of South America - like what we enjoyed in Guyana and Suriname. And from another angle, it felt like a rustic resort in the untouched jungles of Africa - like what we encountered in Angola or South Sudan. And of course, there were shades of tropical rainforest retreats of Asia - like the ones we have experienced in Laos or Cambodia. Not sure if it was the outlandish vegetation that gave these vibes. Or the rowdy bird & animal species that were calling this sanctuary home that teleported us to a jungle abode. In any case, it felt like an easy breezy international vacation without having to cross the border! And all it took us to get here was just an 80-minute flight from the chaotic urban jungle of Bangalore, followed by a quick 2-hour drive! Incredible India! The overwater bungalow we stayed in might not have the chops to compete with the luxury versions in renown destinations, but it had other assets that set it apart. The highlight being the huge balcony looking into a picture-perfect landscape filled with striking elements. Huge plate-like leaves of the exotic Victoria Amazonica plant that made us feel like we were in the Amazon jungle. The comical birds flying by constantly, and even putting on a show in the tree theatres outside our windows. Beautiful breeze that caressed us constantly after the sun went down. Wonderfully lit hand-crafted swings you could lounge in. And of course, cold craft beers that we had ferried from Bangalore to savor in this captivating setting. #AmazingAndhraPradesh #GorgeousGodavari LOCATION: The nearest airport is Rajahmundry Airport, which is about 90 kilometres from the hotel, a little less than 2 hours by road. DINE + DRINK: While we expected good food from fine chefs, we didnt expect to get this pampered and indulged in hyper local delicacies from the Konaseema region The GM and Chef personally hosted us during various meals serving delicious dishes of Kona Seema, which is quite underrated across India, like Dibba Roti and Upma stuffed Pesarattu. And of course the highlight of our dining experience here was the amazing Andhra thali we tasted during lunch.: Though I trace my roots back to Andhra Pradesh, being born and brought up in the state of Tamil Nadu limited my exposure to the region’s legendary cuisine. And the contrived dishes we sampled in Andhra restaurants in Hyderabad, during our short stay there, were not noteworthy. So finally when we got to indulge in a mindblowing spread of Konaseema Thali last afternoon, we almost got intoxicated like we might get on fine weed or craft ales! The preparation style of some of the dishes were so different and unlike anything we had seen before. I couldn't even capture all the dishes(around 32 in total!) in a single picture. And the lovely local lady who dished out (Savithri Amma) wasn't planning to stop cooking more until we begged her to show mercy on us! And the setting where we were pampered with these non-stop servings made the experience even more heavenly! Everything from the Pudi’s and pickles to the range of coastal delicacies were simply scrumptious. ROOM: We stayed in 1104 on the first night and the King Villa on the second, so this review is based on that; VIEW: While the King villa was more of an overwater bungalow, and 1104 was a room both had lovely views; SIZE: Very spacious rooms; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good cosmetics by BIOTIQUE Brand FACILITIES: Super low-fi Gym with nothing more than a treadmill and Cycling machines, both of which were dated. Very basic range of dumbbells to complement them. And the gym was closed during our visit along with the pool too. However the property offers a wide array of outdoor activities to keep you busy. Ranging from Obstacle courses and Ziplines to Sand volleyball and Archery. There is a TT table and some indoor game options too. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to Mr. TULASIRAM the rockstar General manager of the property who hosted us like royalty and personally attended to us throughout our stay. In fact the tour he gave us around the property was one of the highlights of the stay. Chef JULIUS was on a mission to fatten us with his phenomenal cooking and signature recipes. And these two were supported by a crew of hyper-attentive staff like NAIDU, VEERAMANI, SURAJ, VENKAT, and BHAVSINH. And Mr.Subbaraju took care of all additional special requests to enhance our stay. It seemed to us like Mr. Tulasiram was running a school in Indulgent Pampering of guests, and all the staff members had been wonderfully trained and graduated from this School! Kudos to him and his team. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Very poor Wifi that didnt function as we expected and had to depend on our 4G mobile connectivity. And the TV is quite small too with a limited range of entertainment. But then, you dont come to a nature paradise like this to be connected do you? Hope not! So we were very happy to unplug as required and soak in the simple pleasures of rural India. COVID UPDATE: THe property has done an excellent job of ensuring safety , social distancing and hygiene to minimise the risk as much as possible. Especially the Common areas and Restaurant had good implementation of the required rules

We found this place online when we were searching for a stay in Dindi. It looked beautiful on their website, but we were not sure what to expect till we reached the resort. Most of the times, there's a lot of difference between the online pics vs the actuals. We got a pleasant surprise when we reached the hotel. It was as beautiful as depicted in the pictures.Special thanks to Mr Tulasiram, the General Manager. He was always around to check if his guests were comfortable. He even took us around the resort, explaining various things about the resort, which we wouldn't have otherwise known. The resort is beautiful and maintained very well.Exceptional service by the staff. Good food. The Suite room was very spacious. When I got onto Tripadvisor, I was surprised that such a beautiful resort had only 2 reviews.
