My girlfriend and me stayed here for 2 nights, hoping for some waves to surf. Sadly, there were no waves during our stay, so we spent only the 2 nights there. We had the possibility to stay longer, but with no waves, there wasn’t really a reason for us. The beach around is very nice, but in the „city“ isn’t anything going on and furthermore the hostel is quite a few meter away from the center.
The host, Nando from Italy, was very kind and gave us straight at the beginning a nice introduction to the surroundings like the center, supermarket and the local surf spots. We also had on the second evening dinner with some friends of him together.
We had a double room with a shared bathroom next to our room, which was very nice and clean. Towels were provided. The shared kitchen has a lot of different stuff, but basic and not really a big amount of each piece (for example: only one bowl). The kitchen was quite small, but mostly clean. The bathroom was also clean and simple. As most of the hostels in Nicaragua, this also got only semi-cold/warm water for showering. The rest of hostel was as well quite basic, but nice. The beach is about 45 sec by foot away, which gives a beautiful view during the sunset/dinner.

Me and my freind stayed here for 4 weeks back in january before the referbishment.
The host was awesome, helpfull, freindly and plays music with a variety of instruments to use!!!! Cahon, Uke, Guitars etc
The refurbishment fixed the couple of issues we had, we popped back a few times after we moved further into town because the host was cool.... It looks really nice now with clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. It's a little walk to the surf break at that time of year but its such a beautifull place, I didn't mind... Good vibes Nica style!!

Top Location, directly at the beach. We only stayed here for one night, because it was booked out the days after. Nando was a superb host and the atmosphere at his place was welcoming and very personal. Easy to get to know people and the rooms are nicely equipped and a good temperature at night. Can fully recommend this place!
