Nous étions de passage à Shannon, Angela l'hôte, est venu directement nous chercher à l'aéroport. La chambre était très bien équipé, confortable et décoré avec goût. Le petit déjeuner était complet et bon ! 50 euros pour 2 !

Stayed there for two days and I must say: it was really good! We've been picked up from the airport, got some nice Irish breakfast and the price was affordable. The rooms were clean, our host was very friendly - so nothing to complain about. Of course it wasn't a 5 stars hotel standard, but that's not what I expected it to be. So I can honestly recommend it!

I went to Shannon as a solo traveller, and the hostess could not have been nicer or more accomodating. She picked me up from the airport and was eager to help with attractions and tours currently available. The rooms were wonderful and clean with wonderful breakfast options and facilities.

I stayed with Angela for one night in August, arriving late in the evening. She even collected me from the airport to safe me taxi-costs. Her guest room is well furnished, clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was shared with one other, and very clean too. I was asked what I want for breadfast and we had a nice chat. The next morning, she even took me in her car to Banratty folk park where I started my trip towards the wild atlantic way. Thank you, Angela.

My flight connection required a night stay in Shannon Ireland. I asked for advice from the Aer Lingus and the company's representative suggested me B&B and advised me to contact the information desk at the airport. The lady at the information desk was indeed very helpful and I was very lucky that the Hillside B&B had a room for me that night. The lady picked me up at the airport, she is very busy but very welcoming and very nice. We introduced ourselves and we had great conversation on the way from the ariport to her place. She got to know me and I got to know her as well. She has owned this business since 1997, she told me --> thus an experienced person I could say!). On the way to her place, she showed me the grocery store and some places I could get food. These places are just 10 to 20 minutes walk (depending on how fast you walk and how distracted you are with the beautiful landscape and houses), from her place. Well, Ireland had left a great first impression to me. Ok, now...let's talk about the place...I stayed in room #3. I took some pictures (see them attached) and with the amount I paid and with the quality of hospitality, The Hillsed B&B was a great place (of course I only stayed one night..I hoped to stay much longer so I could provide extended review :). Overall, the place was clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept very well, it was quiet, and food was provided (the hostess actually was making sure that I ate before I went to bed :) :), I felt like my mom was asking the same question; and she also prepared the breakfast!). As a visitor, these were classified as a "treat". In my view, the place and the owner deserve a 5-start rating because of the affordability of the place, the cleanliness, the quality of its neighborhood, and the quality of the hospitality. Thanks very much for making my stay enjoyable. I hope that the owner is glad to see this because I greatly appreciated her hospitality. P.S. Wifi was also free.…
