Had a lovely cosy room very homely breakfast was lovely staff friendly will stay here again....its in a perfect spot close to everything.. Without the expense just what we needed....bed was comfy...clean.... The owner's were very helpful ..
The family were great. The owner, Wiestava (pronounced Vey-Swah-vah) picked us up from the airport. We were late every morning for breakfast but she made it for us with no complaints probably because it was fairly quiet at the B&B although more guests came as we left. Breakfast was free range eggs from the hens in the garden, rye bread or white bread, meat (incl. black pudding), orange juice, cafetiere coffee, tea and fresh chives from the garden. The B&B is a long walk or a short journey from the airport but takes and hour and a half by coach to get to Galway, 45 minutes to Limerick and 30 to Ennis. We got the room for 30 euros pp per night which is a good price but not fantastic if you consider to cost of getting to the more 'happening' places in South West Ireland. We were out a lot and spent the night in a hostel in Galway called the Galyway city Hostel for about the same price as the B&B. Wiestava didn't charge for the night because it was quiet at the B&B. Go to Galway and the Rosin Dubh (Rosheen-dove) and walk along the bay, go to the Cliffs of Moher, go to Limerick and Dolan's pub. For Galway restuarants: http://www.ireland-guide.com/discover/index.php?item_id=5691&from=20#refine The B&B also had a very friendly pub a few minutes walk up the road (go right, left then straight) who invited us back the next night to a lively 21st Birthday party!!! About Republic of Ireland - They don't really like the English... This review isn't articulated perfectly but do email with any questions. :]…
