We had been to this place on 13th August 2017. Prior permission from Range forest Officer is a must otherwise entry is not possible. 10 kms drive to the top. ensure you take adequate volume of water and eatables. Nothing is available there. A good serine atmosphere . Unpolluted and virgin. ensure you don't throw any waste there. cool atmosphere and panoramic view of C durga can be had. Road is good and asphalted.

Jogi MAtti is called an hill station as it is around 3061 ft above sea level. The approach road is pathetic. No upkeep. You need permit to get inside this area. We took a guide who arranged for permit. This place is supposed to be good during rainy season. Wild leopards , bears and few other wils animals can be sighted based on your luck. There is a pond where many animals come to quench their thirst early in the morning or evening around 6 pm it seems. The possibility of sighting animals is high at that time. The place is very lonely, not recommended to go with small family, you feel very isolated. There are guest hourses above, but you need priori booking and permit to stay there as well. I personally did not loike this place and felt it was a waste of time
