No reception. By this I don’t mean just no WiFi in the rooms (which is true) but also no front office reception to help you check in. The place was beautiful but unfortunately the check in process freaked me out so much that it overshadowed the potential of this place. I booked this place online as a last minute reservation when I got an unexpected overnight here due to flight delays. It was late and the only place with availability near the airport was this place. They said in the hotels.com reservation to confirm with the property to check in since there was no front office to help you. The email provided only two phone numbers both of which I could not call with my international phone. I used the airport phone to call and multiple times went straight to voicemail. I left urgent message to call back or email with no response on how to check in. No lock box code, no directions where the key would be, no notification if there would be someone there or if I would be able to even get in at all after paying for a taxi there so late at night. I took my chances and paid $20 for a taxi there and a man with no shirt on greeted me with the key. I shared my relief that someone that worked there was there to greet me but to my horror the man said he was just a guest that was given my cottage key. Who is this man? Why does a GUEST have my key? I’m a single woman traveling alone and honestly it freaked me out to know a stranger that was a random guest at the hotel was given a key to my apartment. When I asked why he had a key he stated the owner had to go somewhere. I’m happy I got in but for real?! The owner is going to just gave this random guest that doesn’t work there access to the place I would be staying at ALONE?! This made me very uncomfortable. I’m happy that at least I got in the cottage but the check in procedure needs too be a little more responsible and considerate. At least they should answer the phone or give check in instructions in the email for late night arrivals.

Staying at the cottages for w week was a blast. Load up your fridge with groceries and beer (supermarket is a 10-12 minute walk), Dickenson Bay beach is about a half hour walk (it can get pretty hot though)), or it's a a quick taxi ride. Take the island van tour, ask for Billy he's great and knows everywhere. However, make sure you repellant up after dark if mosquitos enjoy you a little too much. Touloulou"s restaurant is 5 minutes downhill for a great lunch or dinner. Also the cottage gazebo is a great sit for sitting and surfing wi-fi. Would definetly visit again.

This property is unique. The accommodation is cottages each with a balcony to sit out at night and in the morning looking over a lovely garden. Our cottage was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen ( a kettle would be a bonus but we heated water on the stove for our morning cuppa so not a problem). Our hosts were kind and helpful, picking us up from the airport even though our flight was late. The WiFi is a little hit and miss but you find the spots where it works well. Taxis were cheap (or you could hire a car) - it’s a little off the beaten track but the benefits of such a lovely peaceful setting outweighed that and the local restaurant is fantastic and literally 2 mins walk away. Will definitely be back

This place is nice and quiet, the rooms are clean, didn't notice any bugs or rodents. Our host was very accommodating and would taxi us around everywhere for a reasonable fee. A car or use of taxi is a must if you want to see anything other than the beach or heritage quay. We walked to the beach in about half an hour, and jogged to heritage quay in the same time. One of the hosts even did us a private tour of Antigua for a reasonable price which was a great bonus as we were only there a short time.

From the moment we stepped off the plane we were welcomed like long time friends. Niki the owner was full of information about the places to see, even taking us to the grocery store to stock up. We contracted with her to give us tours and driving the island instead of hiring someone else and she exceeded our expectations. We were introduced to locals and enjoyed meeting her friends and going to the beach.
The Cottages are adorable and comfortable. We enjoyed having our own kitchen and covered porch to sit on and relax. Her garden has covered eating and visiting areas for her guests as well. The landscaping makes the cottages private and inviting. There are fruit trees like avacado, banana, pomagranite and lime. Aromatic flowers and tropical trees and bushes make you feel so calm as you walk through or just sit and relax on your porch. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are thinking of renting all 4 of her cottages out for a family vacation. Our only issue was that even though there was internet provided it was not as strong as we would have prefered. We did have it and Niki was so helpful to help us find the best spots to get connected. Can't wait to go back.

Hi- get in touch with them - they will collect you or arrange a taxi and will be there. They are so kind and helpful- they waited for us even though our flight was delayed and we arrived an hour late
