What a lovely place this is. Beautifully hosted by Pauline and Don we couldn't have been made more welcome. I can't wait to come back. The breakfasts are to die for. Nicely situated between Norwich and great Yarmouth it's a superb hub.

Wonderful Spot

This is a wonderful, clean and friendly place to stay. Our breakfasts were divine, eggs were from the chickens in the garden. They also do packed lunches for you on request. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. Would recommend staying here. Must have a car. If you are ever up that way, check it out.

Stayed in Rose room which has a double bed.(Understand the other room Ivy has twin beds) This is a large room with a seating area, and a ensuite wet room. The owners Pauline and Don live in a separate house where the breakfasts are served, with a large garden that they were happy for us to use. Pauline used to run a catering business and certainly knows how to provide a large delicious filling breakfast. 5 min car journey to RSPB Strumpshaw Fen, but with a wide variety of wildlife in the grounds. Only negative were the low ceilings in places, so beware if you are tall.

I love staying here

So I stay here quite regularly, because the room is comfortable, the location quite central (if you're working in Norfolk) and the hosts really friendly There are pubs to eat in quite close by and it's no more than 20 minutes drive from Norwich. Definitely my first choice when I stay near here

Large, spacious house and grounds with HotTub. 2 B&B rooms in separate, dedicated Annex, so you are not tripping over the owner. Rooms very large, en-suite, with 2 seating areas, and all facilities. Pauline is absolutely charming and welcoming. She used to run a catering business, so you can be certain that the breakfasts will be excellent, and they are. In the country, so excellent walks and views. 2 mins by car to the local RSPB reserves. 5 mins to the river and superb river-pub. 10 mins into Norwich. Very very comfortable. Great value.
