Greeted at the door by Winnie who looked after us wonderfully until the minute we left. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was not particularly nice - porridge was sludgy and tasted like the instant variety instead of the lovely homemade Scottish porridge I was looking forward to. Cooked breakfast was also poor. No other cereals yoghurts etc offered. Breakfast served in the porch with just 2 chairs so goodness knows how it is done if both rooms are booked. Also as it was sunny it was boiling in there so very uncomfortable. Generally just an unpleasant experience al round. There is a good pub/restaurant within 5 minutes walk that serves good food.…
