We have now written over 1700 reviews on this site, including many hundreds of hotels. In all honesty, this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. This is not hyperbole but our most objective assessment of this run- down, bedraggled, terribly run hotel.
The site is filled with piles of garbage, such as plastic bottles and broken glass. Sick and underfed dogs roam around begging for food. And the rooms are shabby with peeling paint and holes in the roof. No maintenance work has been done.
Then there are the hovering owners who are constantly suggesting grossly over-priced meals and services you should be buying from them. If you don't go along with their suggestions, you will get nothing but guilt treatment.
We felt unhappy and uncomfortable throughout our stay. This place is really somewhere to avoid.

Was attracted to the price and sole advertiser Visited the place. Under stressful repair with construction on going. Was told that the price advertised was only for the meals... Great location though but no other source of food nearby.

We booked on the internet, having not been to Sorake Beach before. While the location was great, right at the end of the beach, the condition of the losman was just awful. The floor on the interior and the deck outside had rotten boards so we had to tread carefully to prevent accident. The interior ceiling panels taped up, the bedding was not clean, the bathroom had shower rust, a toilet that overflowed sewage at the base and the sink drained right out below into the ground. If we wanted cold water for hand flushing the toilet or a cold shower, we had to shout out to the owner to turn the water pump on. No restaurants close by, and the food cooked out back, though delicious was double, if not triple the price of anywhere else on Sorake beach. We had booked and paid for a week but left as soon as the rain fell and the bed soaked with rainwater from the roof leaking. We told the owner in the morning who just shrugged his shoulders. There are plenty of losemen on Sorake beach that are clean and sound for less than the price charged here.
