Narita Airport is about 90 - 120 minutes by bus from downtown Tokyo (traffic dependent). I recommend taking the JR train from the airport to Tokyo Central station (45 minutes, and the same price as the bus). Exit the station via the Marunouchi North Gate, and the hotel is diagonally opposite (across the street) to the right. I chose the hotel exactly because of its location - no need for a taxi.
Both Airports have a train option, the Narita Express is the best option from Narita Airport. I have taken the Bus and the Train and given you are staying at the Hotel Marinuchi it is located at Tokyo Central Station and is very simple to get to
My preference is to use Narita Airport. It is farther from Tokyo but the Narita Express is fast and comfortable and puts you at the hotel. Haneda is closer but your options are local rail (two trains), dealing with crowds, tough if you have luggage, or an airport bus dealing with local traffic.
There is also an airport bus from Narita to a drop off point near the hotel. We took the bus instead of the train because we did not want to deal with stairs / escalators with luggage. The hotel website has detail info.
It will take around 50 minutes via the fast train from airport but as it’s right in Tokyo station complex it’s easy form there to walk. It is well positioned for this and then bullit train also directly accessable
Nevertheless, both airports are very accessible to the Main Tokyo Station which the Hotel is at.
You can take Narita Express (if from Narita Airport) or the Monorail (if From Haneda)
alternatively you can also take the Limo Bus service (orange colour) that will take you to Tokyo Station.
this hotel is one of the most accessible hotel in terms of using public transport.
