Hi, we are due to stay in a few weeks from a Friday to the Sunday morning and wondered if there is a shuttle from the hotel to Venice? If not, I see that the no. 5 bus service is recommended. Do you know how much that costs and how often they run? Just trying to work out the best way for travelling around. Many thanks for your help.
The resort do have a shuttle to Venice the cost is €30 if you walk into the village 5 10 minute walk you can get a bus (no 5) it will drop you off in Venice at the same spot a taxi or the resort shuttle will drop you off remember to get your tickets at the tobacco shop before you get on the bus the cost is €1.50 or if you are going to stay in Venice for the day you can get a day pass for €20 which allows you to use the vaparettos and buses at no extra cost (vaparettos are €7 per trip) hope this helps
Sorry, we just spent the night for a connecting flight. Give them a call, they speak good English and are very accommodating.
We did get a shuttle ride from Ca' Teressa into a transportation hub in Venice. As I recall there was a small charge for it, but worth the easy in a place that was new to us. Indeed, the No. 5 bus makes the runs regularly to Venice from the Airport and back and the cost is very modest. It's a matter of showing up at a bus stop a bit of a distance from the hotel. On the homeward leg of our trip, the bus proved the easiest way back to the airport. It seems the cost was 4-8 euros per person.
The hotel is a few blocks from the bus stop. There is no shuttle. The hotel will help you book a seat on the van to the airport, but there was an extra charge. If you haven’t already paid for your room, I’d recommend exploring alternate accommodations.
