Bob knows so much about native Americans and their history. His stories are incredible. The rugs, paintings, jewelery, and artifacts are exceptional.

We stopped in for a visit after lunch. The artifacts seemed interesting but we are not experts. The curator took the time to explain many of the museum pieces to us. It helped that we were the only visitors at the time but I expect he would be equally helpful to anyone who asked.

This place is not only an art gallery, museum, but a treasure house of items to purchase. Slow down driving through Longview, and check this place out. It is an experience. The couple that own the museum are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. There are many things to see and buy.

Lots of interesting things to see and the stories told by the owners, are very interesting. Nice little gift store as well. Stop in and have a visit, relax and just wander through the gallery and museum

If you have an interest in the historical, including cowboy, and authentic aboriginal materials and art work then stop here. The owner has lived in various places in the Western United States and is a wealth of information, and stories. Apache Comanche, Sioux, and many other aboriginal materials, many with interesting provenance. Really enjoyed the conversation.

We dropped in after a failed attempt to find saskatoon berry pie in longview.

We walked in and saw nice things in the entry. We then turned right into a small room filled with glass cases filled with artifacts and silver jewelry. No labels on anything. Interesting but not too captivating. When Bob finished with the group he had been working with we asked him about some jewelry and we ended up getting detailed descriptions and histories and many items.

Bob is a font of info on the art of the southeast and many other regions.

Plan on spending an hour or more!

It's hard to peg this fascinating place. The real depth here is in their vast collection of Native American things, because each object comes with a detailed history as to where it came from and what it meant. They have a wonderful collection of old turquoise jewelry, but also masks, drums, statues, etc. I was drawn in by the photographs by Andrew Curtis, but was also intrigued by the more modern Western Art and related crafts. The proprietors are hugely knowledgeable, so when you drop by, and you should, ask some questions and you'll be transported into amazing world.
