I stayed there early April 2024 for a week, the hotel had zero cleaning staff. Management refused to work with me. She kept referring me to housekeeping instead of managing. When they did clean, the cleaning was incomplete and the room was still dirty. Dried wine in glasses, no Kleenex, no fresh towels. Very disappointed as I have stayed at this hotel for years. They seem to only cater to airline personnel. Beware booking this hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas from check in time check out! I was able to check in early, received a free buffet breakfast, free water at the front desk, drink coupons, cable car coupons and so much more! Within walking distance to everything. I'm looking forward to a return visit. Jeff Aquino, Concierge, was excellent! Youll' enjoy your stay here!

Excellent service from the time I pulled up. Elaine at the front desk checked us in and out, by us, I mean my chihuahua Violet, and I. Elaine was so professional and polite. She explained all the great perks the hotel offers. They have a great package for those of us that have fur babies! Violet loved the free treats! My room had a great view of Union Square, and the room, bed, and furniture were very comfortable! The room was quiet and location perfect. I ordered room service for breakfast and it was fabulous! I’ve stayed at other hotels in the city, and none came close to the great service at the St. Francis! I look forward to my next stay!

We stayed here as a family of four, including two children, an elementary school student and a kindergartener. We were very grateful for the kind and polite service. This was 35 years ago. I still remember going up in the glass elevator and going to the bar for drinks.

The hotel lobby fall decorations were AMAZING!!! So ascetically pleasing when you walk-in. The hotel is conveniently located in Union Square with great shopping within walking distance, the trolley stations are near the entrance of the hotel and drop off from the trolley at the front entrance. The smell and cleanliness of the facility were superb, from the bellman, staff at the Oak Room for breakfast and our room attendant was extremely kind and made our room welcoming. We had an unfortunate experience at check in, But a special thanks to Carly at the front desk who helped turn our frown upside down, her kindness and professionalism made our experience more enjoyable, her assistance with management help resolve the problem in a timely manner. Thank you to Carly for an amazing experience at such a beautiful facility. I hope she continues to strive to greatness and success in her position as a front desk representative.

Hook me up a good concise information of the area, and was very courteous and very approachable. This man deserves a raise, and I happy to see him again.

What a lovely breakfast I had at the Oak Room off the lobby of the St. Francis hotel!
The room is beautiful, quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The service was quick and expert. At no point did I feel rushed.
I ordered off the menu rather than helping myself at the buffet. I got a good sized bowl of oatmeal and the "add-ins" each came in a sweet little bowl of its own. I ordered coffee and got a whole pot so I could have refills at my own pace.
I'm going to eat breakfast here (the only meal they serve) daily for the rest of my stay.

I stayed in the Tower building. The hotel is beautiful and well located. Our room was spacious and very comfortable (bed, really nice bathroom, great view from the 30th floor). Great very large gym which I really appreciate - some hotels have small workout rooms and you have to wait for equipment - not the case at this hotel. Suggestions for improvement - there is no place to sit in the lobby unless you are eating at the cafe, and in the evening the cafe closes and you are not allowed to sit at the tables (I was asked to leave one night when I was working on my laptop at an empty table). There are no couches or seating areas or anywhere to sit at all in the lobby, it is just for passing through. Also when I arrived it was late at nite (flight from the East coast) and while I sailed through the SF airport and got to the hotel quickly, it took at least 30 minutes to check in. They really need more staff to check people in, there was one person working at 10pm and a line of people checking in. It makes for a difficult start to arrive late and waste time at check in.

Dans son assemblé, l'hôtel et intéressent... essentiellement pour son emplacement!
Les seules choses pour lesquelles je ne donne pas 5 étoiles: la qualité du matelas, le lit et plus ou moins fait par le personnel (un mouchoir en papier oublié par nous-mêmes entre les draps n'avait pas été jeter), plusieurs adhésifs transparents sur le plafond pour je ne sais quelle raison.

An incredibly well located and very quiet hotel, in a very chic and elegant style. Great service, with a special mention to Ann, David (the best Concierge ever) and the whole team of the hotel bar. Nothing to say, just wow
