Didn't plan to visit, just driving by and we knew about their products. So we decided to go for a short visit. Tasting room is quite small. We received a warm welcome by the young man at the counter. Took a sampler set. The cider I liked the most was the Vermonter. Great products, amazing branding.

Had a flight of cider for sampling. The young man behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend a stop by!

Every one was welcoming from the servers to the bottlers to the other patrons. The refreshing ciders were great on a warm afternoon. Dog friendly.

We spent a weekend cycling in the Middlebury area and we finished our visit with an excellent tasting with this talented cider maker. Simple and yet cool tasting room, with knowledgeable staff...a real tasty treat of ciders made primarily from locally sourced apples.

Stopped at the famers market filled my cart with awesome pepper jam, a few soft Pretzels and baked goods, and an assortment of veggies from the charming farm girls., but I felt something was needed to wash it all down so walked into Shacksbury. I really liked their cider. Better then some of the bigger cider brand names.
