Absolutely beautiful early am with the pups always so peaceful and serene nice walk trails LOVE the horses trails and dog trails Go early this place gets very busy but worth the drive I make to go there for my sanity

We've gone to this park in the past for the dog parks. We appreciate that they have separate areas for small dogs vs. large dogs. They have some nice walking paths, a playground, some ponds, and primitive access to the creek for kayaking/canoeing.

Great park, playground area, well shaded picnic tables and backs onto the greenway which has well maintained paved and natural trails.

This is a very safe park to visit.
Long biking paved trails that only cross street when enter new park. Bring lots of water
My favorite is the dog park. Large, fenced and small and big dogs are separated by a fence. Owners are attentive, very few scuffles. Bags provided for waste. Small plastic pools on both sides to cool dogs. Lots of trees

For the last three years after discovering this park, we have visited every Friday and Monday for walking the extensive trails and hosting homeschool group play dates! The park is FREE to enter. There is a wonderful dog park divided into two sections - one for larger dogs, one for smaller dogs. The dog park is full of trees, has water features for the dogs, water fountains and also a hose-off station that's nice after they are done playing! As for the playground area - they've fairly recently added an additional playground feature that my kids love! The original area has some swings and then a canopy-covered climbing area that's somewhat of an obstacle course! My kids will play for hours on that! The newer playground feature has equipment for smaller kids, which is nice, but it is not covered like the original play area. I would really love to see them cover the new section with a canopy as well! The seating available for parents is covered under a pavilion or you can sit at uncovered benches scattered through the trees surrounding the playground. The bathrooms are close to the playground and always clean.The park is FULL of beautiful trees that provide lots of shade during those hot summer months. The only negative I can think of is that sometimes the water fountains don't work and that's rough during the summer, so bring a water bottle just in case! I would also love to see a Splash Pad put in if they could! THAT would be amazing. There'd be no better park in the area, in my opinion, if they could put one in :)

Pundt Park is a nice park for families, hikers and bikers. Large parking area, separate dog park is pretty big. Little ponds, many trails, one 8 mile hike and bike trail, paved, goes all the way the Jesse Jones Park in Humble.

The central parking lot is very large. Recreation and picnic tables are limited. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails.

It is the start of the Greenway Trail. The biutterfly park is really nice and the Park is well maintained.

What a Hidden Gem we found in Pundt Park! Perfectly paved trails go for miles and miles. Truly, I think you can ride over 30 miles through the trails alongside Spring Creek. The parks department has truly outdone themselves and we are so thankful for this beautiful treasure close to our home!

No there are no horses to rent at the park, however there are horse rentals outside the park several miles away. They use the park and the vast horse trails network as part of their business.
They usually have about ten to the group when I see them.
I have even seen the horses by the creek.
Second, during the summer, some of the neighbors by the park bring their horses to their homes. The kids ride everyday when school is out on the trails.
