This was a huge disappointment. Came to PA with a friend for shopping and wineries. The grounds were beautiful however, not a normal wine tasting visit. There was a chalkboard with a few wines listed on it. You were not given a paper list to check off which wines you wanted to try. There was a fairly young man waiting on you at the counter who really didn't seem to have any knowledge about wines. We asked if there was something explaining about each flavor and were allowed to look at a "menu" When we picked the wines we wanted to try you verbally told him which ones and he poured them into the cups but there was no way to know which wine was which. I asked if he was pouring according to the order I said the names and he said yes (I felt like he really had no interest in being there). There were not many choices of wines. I guess they have hard cider too, but nothing was said to us about that, it wasn't even mentioned (not good marketing of your products). Much better experience in Lititz at a totally different winery where you were seated, given a list and a pencil to pick your flavors to try and someone explaining about each wine and even telling you what each wine could be paired with. You even got a keepsake glass at the winery in Lititz. I think this winery could learn a few things from other wineries. Too bad because the location was beautiful but that's about the only nice thing I can say.

We got tickets to a comedy show here and had never been before. It’s a twisty drive to get there but a really cool venue and layout. Not only do they have wine and other drinks, but they make their own wood-fired pizza. Definitely worth checking out.

This place use to be nice and now it’s completely run down and unsanitary.
They don’t card anyone which I was shocked at.
The wine has gone up significantly in price and then they give you tiny paper cups to drink it out of. Those same tiny cups are what they serve the $10 slushies in which is outrageous!
Our view was watching the pizza making. I will never, ever, ever eat it nor recommend it.
They use their bare hands to knead and roll the dough and put the toppings on the same time going in and out of the building, touching the door and anything else that comes their way including cell phones. Absolutely disgusting! And then to make it even worse is another employee then takes the cooked pizza and puts it on a cheap paper plate and carries it out to your table….BUT….the pizza hangs over the plate and lays right on that persons bare hand! Ugh!!!
The “manager” which was this shorter man in a hoodie that said he’s been managing it for 4 years walks around drinking bottles of Yuengling!
How does that even makes sense?? He should be worrying about keeping the place tidy AND sanitary and why is he drinking on the job AND if so, why not their products??

We had an awesome experience and definitely plan to return! Staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant. Environment was low key and dog friendly, yes that’s right, we were able to bring our dog! After tasting we choose the Sangria and the Peach wine, delicious!

About 40 mins. from Harrisburg. Beautiful grounds and view of the river! It's waayyy up the hill off the main road but nice when you get there! Very nice place for purchase or tasting of wines (oh and BTW....since it's been mentioned in other reviews, very few wineries/breweries let you "taste" their products for free....always a charge!) Tasting = 2 oz. pours x 5 for $10. Great selection of wines, all types, white to red, dry to sweet, cider too. Defiantly a wedding venue...think French chateau!

A group of 7 of us went to this winery on Friday February 26th. We had rented an igloo. We arrived around 7:30 and learned that they were selling out of wine quickly. When it was my turn to order I had a rude young lady wait on me becausethe gentlemanthat we were dealing with had to step away. I simply asked to try the cider. She then with an attitude asked what kind. When I told her she said well if it's not in the fridge we don't have it. Being new to the winery I had no idea how things ran. Not only was I annoyed at the rudeness of this person but how can a winery be sold out of all of their cider on a Friday at 7:30pm? The igloo , company, and our host were great but I do not believe I will go back. I am also a newly engaged bride looking for a venue and this place is definitely off my list. I was excited to come to your winery to check out your cider and see the place but I was turned off by the one girl and the fact that you ran out of cider that early. Very disappointing especially since I drove 45 minutes to try cider.

Right at the Susquehanna River, Moon Dancer Winery is off the beaten path and on sizable grounds. The Margherita pizza is priced right, based on what I tasted.
