We had a lovely time meeting, feeding and walking the alpaca. Abby was our guide. We booked at the last minute and a lovely relaxing way to spend some time. We walked Perseus and Hurricane. Animals were really well looked after and you can also walk goats and sheep

Spent a lovely few hours at this hidden gem. We walked the alpacas and goats and got to meet lots of the other animals as it was fairly quiet when we went. Love how much space the animals have and how some just free roam. Perseus and Hurricane were very well behaved alpacas and Moo and Frances were very naughty goats and my daughter and I loved them all! Would highly recommend! Some places are just good for the soul and this is one of them.

Great day out. Got to spend time with baby alpacas, goats, pigs, lambs, ferrets & more before we even walked our Alpaca! Well worth a visit. Elliott was really informative and a big thank you to him for making my nieces 21st one to remember.

Very disappointing. They photo online shows baby goats being cuddled but there were none. Just rather large Pygmy goats we walked around a field. Not as advertised at all.

Baby goats are born once a year, they're not on constant 'supply' all year round. If your sole aim was to 'cuddle a goat' it would have been wise to email before booking to find out if this was the time of year we would have some. I would like to discuss this personally with you as I believe giving a one star review for not having a baby available for you to cuddle and other pygmy goats being 'too big' is rather unfair. As you can see from our reviews, other guests, love the experience.

Oh my goodness, this was a wonderful couple of hours spent!
We had a private alpaca walk booked, but the lovely lady introduced us to the whole family - alpacas, llamas, rabbits, sheep, pigs, turkeys, emus, goats and more.
The animals are clearly well loved and cared for and have so much space to enjoy life 😊
Our walk was amazing. We have adopted an alpaca and will definitely Be back again!
Thank you so much

What an amazing few hours we had with such wonderful animals.
Eliot our guide was very informative and helpful.
We learnt so much about Alpacas and how calm and beautiful they are even when Scooby Do made an impromptu appearance.
It was lovely to see the big smiles on my sister’s face. We will be back :))))
Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

What a fabulous way to spend a few hours! I had the great pleasure of visiting Middle England Farm Alpacas with my partner recently. It was such a great visit, spending time with our host and learning all about the animals on the farm was brilliant. The Alpaca Walking experience was fantastic. I only have good things to say! I am more than happy to recommend Middle England Farm Alpacas as a great way to spend some time with some truly wonderful animals.

My partner surprised me with a private tour of Middle England Farm for my 40th birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect - but what an awesome day we had!
We turned up mid-morning and parked, and were greeted by Elliott, who explained he would be our guide for the day. He gave us a brief rundown of everything he had planned, which as an anxiety-sufferer, really put me at ease.
Elliot found the perfect balance between keeping us (and the animals) safe and happy, but also allowing us to have little bits of time without him – we walked round the edge of a field with the Alpacas, while Elliot walked diagonally across it and waited for us to meet him halfway to take some photos by a lake. He was also really easy to talk to as we walked about on the farm, which really added to the experience.
The whole event was super flexible, and Elliott was only too eager to tailor the different sections of the day to be longer or shorter according to our personal tastes. I absolutely loved visiting the lamb shed, so Elliott made sure we had time to circle back there at the end of our adventures.
We fed Alpacas and Sheep, walked Alpacas and Goats on leads, met Porsche the unofficial free-range Pig (she kept escaping her enclosure – and to be fair, due to her size there’s not a lot of changing her mind once she decides she’s going somewhere.) It’s clever that most of the animals eat the same feed, so you’re not juggling bags of food wondering if you’re feeding the right stuff to the right animal.
There were also normal size and giant size bunnies, some ferrets, a shed full of Guinea Pigs, various Geese & Turkeys, and two Emus. The farmhouse has a handful of gorgeous little dogs that we got to pet and hold.
Elliott knew all of the animals by name, and told us lots of stories about their births, personal histories and friendships, as well as general breed information – he seriously knew his stuff, and you could tell he really cares about the animals and the farm.
My partner had pre-booked for us to have a picnic lunch, which was provided by a local bakery in a lovely wicker basket. I believe he was asked to make selections of a choice of sandwich fillings, and also cake. We had the option to eat at a picnic bench, or in a cabin – we chose the bench, and watched various goats, geese and the pig mooch about while we ate.
Then it was off for another round of animal adventures, again very much influenced by us rather than being a pre-set list of things to do. Elliott let us have as long as we need at everything we did and was really conscientious in making sure we were happy for the whole experience.
Facilities-wise, there was a portaloo in the carpark (think festival) and a handwashing station. There is the afore-mentioned cabin (which housed Gerbils & Somali Chicks on the day we visited) which has a small indoor seating area. It’s very much an ‘outdoor’ day out, so expect farmy, not Ritzy. If the forecast looks changeable, dress for it – the staff are more than happy for you to nip and add/remove layers if you need to, and you’re never far away from your car.
Expect lots of walking, and to get dirty – even if it’s not muddy (which it was, slightly, for us,) the animals will jump up with dirty feet and you will want a change of clothes to travel home in. But if all of that isn’t your thing, you wouldn’t be considering this kind of experience anyway! It was a day I will never forget, a real treat with amazing memories made.
Thankyou so much Elliott for an absolutely phenomenal day :)

How rough is the ground to walk on and do you walk up any hills, or is it mainly flat land?
Feita em 31 de maio de 2023
Hello, it’s all fields, hills and depending on the weather could be muddy or wet. If it’s been dry for a good period of time, including an absence of morning dew it could be dry. Our animals live totally in a natural environment for their happiness, so it’s best to base your planning on that. We always recommend waterproof footwear. Hope that helps :-)
