Lovely little Visitor Center with friendly staff. I appreciated how clean it was as this is not always the case with some I have seen around Queensland.
I love the setting for this center beside a lovely little park with the Big Thermometer in it.
A great little place to pick up some brochures and information about local 'must see' places.
Worth stopping of at when you are in town.

Arrived in Stanthorpe and found the Visitors i-site. Local council gardeners gave us a warm welcome. i-site staff member was only average, no welcome, didn't promote anything except vineyards and ciderys. No takeaway map to be found and none offered.

What a great little information centre located in a beautiful location. The service we received was very helpful and genuinely of interest. I would recommend that anyone paying a visit to Stanthorpe for a few days break, that they check this place out first to maximise your experience to the fullest.

Some information centres are better than others. This is one of the better ones. Housed in a great old building on the edge of the river, parking is easy, layout of all their information brochures, maps, etc. makes it easy to find what you need and the volunteers are great with all the local information. I dealt with Tony who was great and gave me a more information than I asked for and this altered and improved how the rest of my day went. Start your visit to Stanthorpe with a visit here, you will enjoy your trip and do a lot more because of it.

There is a very helpful lady working there who pointed out some interesting places to visit. They have masses of brochures and maps that came in very hand. The information centre is located in a very pretty park by the river which also has the big thermometer.

Well we met one of the funniest guys ever . Great to see him have a great sense of humour as he delivered his overview of local sights and points of interest .. This centre is neat and tidy with very friendly and knowledgeable assistants to help your stay in Stanthorpe as enjoyable as possible

I only popped in to get out of the cold while my parter used the bathroom but the guide on duty was so knowledgeable and helpful. He really helped us plan how to make the most of our long weekend in town, including some local recommendations.

Wow you certainly get a lot of helpful information from the staff. They are very friendly as well. This is a real plus for the Stanthorpe region

9am to 4pm daily however there is an information board and map of the area outside the centre near the car park that is able to be viewed 24/7. Hope this helps.
hi Visitor Info Centre, Does the Granite Belt have a mobile friendly app or website that makes finding and navigating to the wineries easier? (i.e., allows my phone to navigate me)

Unfortunately we haven't developed an app for this purpose yet!
