Com base em outros comentários e a minha própria experiência inicial de contato - eu esperava ter um tempo sujo para a minha visita. Como outros disseram, porque eles não têm um recepcionista ou chamada dedicado serviço de atendimento, é impossível ficar nada mas uma mensagem gravada. Na minha primeira tentativa passei uma tarde inteira vocação como voz não foram devolvidos. Finalmente chegou e ficou possível datas, mas novamente sempre a voz ao ligar para confirmar antes finalmente falar com alguém mesmo antes de me tinha decidido a e-mail. Assim Como a mulher repetido novamente toda a data/hora detalhes, contou-me sobre o código para o portão, etc. eu não e-mail e aguarda com expectativa a minha visita. No dia em que eu estava atrasado e tentei ligar, mas mais uma vez, não consegui obter qualquer resposta no telefone a partir do início da manhã nem enquanto um amigo estava ligando para o número e no caminho da fazenda. Temos Nos sentimos perdidos após o código postal para Beaconsfield, mas eu estava aliviado para realmente chegar a apenas alguns minutos de atraso - apenas para ser informado que não tinham nenhum registro da minha reserva! Eles foram orgulhosa dizendo que não poderia ter sido reservado como eu não tinha sido enviado um e-mail que é o seu procedimento. Eu expliquei que a pessoa com quem falei, cujo nome eu tinha feito uma nota de e foi capaz de dar, não tinha seguido o procedimento que quase não foi culpa minha. No final, eles disseram que estavam totalmente lotados, então eu tive uma viagem totalmente desperdiçado a perder tempo e gasolina. Eu estava tudo pronto para apenas obter um reembolso, mas decidiu remarcar e brita meu dentes através dele. 2 Dias antes, eu recebi um e-mail dizendo que eu não seria capaz de ter a reflexologia tratamento que eu tinha atualizado para que o terapeuta tinha deixado e eu imediatamente pensei - "Oh não, aqui vai com as decepções". Na chegada, a terapeuta foi ocupado em uma chamada. Eles não tinham mudado em torno do local da recepção e sala de relaxamento da minha primeira visita, que foi uma melhoria. Ela então me acolheu calorosamente e explicou que ela estava indo para ser o meu terapeuta (existe essa multifuncional que continuo fazendo). me pediram para preencher um questionário e mostrado em um quarto com uma atmosfera agradável. Ela perguntou que tipo de pressão I preferido e eu tenho que dizer que ela fique preso a ele e realmente vocacionada para os nós apertados em meus ombros. A decepção foi que durou 25 minutos, não 30 min. Depois (como parte do voucher oferta) I foi perguntado se eu queria tomar meu chá gelado fora, no pátio que eu fiz, e na saída da Charlotte catalãs iam para obtê-lo - ainda mais multi-tarefas! O chá de creme foi muito nice - chá suficiente para ter 2 xícaras e 2 bolinhos aquecido. Eu teria preferido um scone extra, já que eles estavam deliciosos e eu tinha muito de creme e geléia esquerda, mas eu não gostaria de perguntar. Foi bom sentar-se sob o sol quente - e embora o parque de estacionamento, era fácil esquecer que estávamos tão perto de uma auto-estrada movimentada. É claro seus terapeutas são sobrecarregada com a cobertura direta, recepção, responder e-mails, fazer tratamentos e auto - ufa! então agora eu entendo por que quase não se pode conseguir passar. Se eles fixas que rodando por um dia/semana tendo um deles apenas a fazer/e-mail telefone da recepção dos direitos, que faz uma grande diferença para o serviço de atendimento ao cliente. Eu tive sorte o suficiente para obter 2 vouchers e eu agora estou realmente ansioso para a minha segunda visita. BTW, depois de seguir as indicações para serviços, quando chegar ao mini-rotatória, vire na primeira à esquerda, não segunda à esquerda como indicado nas instruções enviadas no e-mail confirmação - ou utilizar SatNav instruções para Hedgerly lane Slough não Hedgerley Lane Beaconsfield.

On Saturday 8th June I had a pamper package for one. It was a gift from my husband for Mother’s Day. I looked up the retreat a few days before to see if I could find out what the package included as we were unsure. I couldn’t find anything about the package but I came across several awful reviews. I thought it couldn’t be as bad as people were saying. But oh no, it really was!

On arrival I was shown in by the therapist, the spa wasn’t set up or organised. The therapist asked what I was booked in for and I replied that it was the pamper package for one and I asked what it involved. She had no idea. She went to find some information. She said I was booked in for 2.5 hours which she referred to as a very long time. She handed me a sheet with lists of different packages and asked which one it was. I said I only knew it was called the pamper package for one. Eventually we established that it included a hot stone massage, facial, manicure and pedicure.

Before I went through to the treatment room I asked to use the toilet. I am not joking when I say I would of preferred to of gone outside in the field. It was covered in faeces stains, one of the taps was out of use and there were no clean towels to dry my hands on, just used ones thrown in the basket.

Once I was in the treatment room the therapist said we can tailor the package to what you want, I replied that I just wanted what was part of the package. She said we won’t have time to do that as the mani and pedi will take an hour each. The sheet said they were 25mins each. She said the shellac would take too long so I said don’t worry about shellac, polish is fine. She said polish takes too long to dry. By this time I was ready to walk out. I said don’t worry about the pedi then which she agreed to. She then asked if I wanted the hot stones, I said yes as that was what we had paid for and she said they would take too long to heat up. I told her to just do whatever she wanted then! I was really fed up by this point and not at all relaxed, I just wanted it to be over. The therapist then gave me around a half hour back massage and about a 20 minute facial. There was no relaxing music as she said she didn’t know how to work the stereo and there was no nice smelling incense like you would expect at a spa. After these treatments I wasn’t offered a glass of water or anything. I eventually asked for one as I was so dehydrated.

We then moved onto the manicure. It is probably the worst manicure I’ve had. There was no removal of the skin around my nails, and the painting quality is awful. The therapist also put 3 coats on one hand and only 2 on the other. When I pointed this out she got very defensive and said I was wrong. Eventually I just backed down and let her carry on. Once my hands were done she realised she did have time to do my feet. Again absolutely awful job. I have attached pictures so you can see.

Once this was done she said “well you got your way in the end didn’t you!”

She then said I could go to the relaxation room to have tea and a scone. I declined as I wanted to get out of there.

It was the most unpleasant and unrelaxing experience I have ever had. On top of that I now need to go and pay to have the shellac removed from my hands and feet.

Just avoid - the whole experience start to finish was a complete shambles! I then complained and had the such an unprofessional rude reply! The place is a joke.

Avoid this place at all costs - awful people to deal with. My fiancé booked a pamper package and cream tea for two for my birthday (£85). They phoned and cancelled the day before we were due to visit due to “staff illness”. From previous reviews it seems like this happens far too regularly. Then started a three week battle to get our money back. In that time the staff lied to us about sending out a cheque and avoided our calls. When this was escalated higher, we were told it is not company policy to send out a cheque and it was cancelled on the way to us (the date written on the cheque was also days after they claimed to have sent it). We were then also accused of trying to defraud them out of money (the money we paid in good faith for treatments we never received!) - what a way to treat your customers!
Our money was only finally returned after I told them I would write an article exposing what a shambolic operation they are running (I’m a journalist).
Do yourself a favour and just go somewhere else. When we were let down by this terrible company we booked (very last minute, thanks to The Retreat) at Nuad Thai in Beaconsfield instead and it was wonderful - I highly recommend them instead!

Pampering experience???

Wouldn't even give it one star! The place was cramped and unwelcoming, and it was dirty... there was dirt up walls and radiators etc, and as for the cream tea's.....well, i'm lost for words.It was an experience, but not one i recommend. Don't waste your money.

Had a voucher as a present, two treatments and afternoon tea. Our treatment was to start at 9.45am and I'd had a call to say one of the therapists was off sick so could we do our treatments back to back which was ok but meant we were both waiting around for an hour. There was no reply from the entry phone when we arrived at the gate. A young girl came to the car and said she was working there and would let us in. I thought she looked about 12 but thought it must be my age! It turned out she was 13 (isn't that illegal?). We followed them in the car into the courtyard and then we went through the front door on our own which was unlocked. There were no lights on and nobody around. After a couple of minutes the girl and the lady driving (her Mum I assume) came through from the back trying to get the lights to work. The therapist then appeared and started to tell the young girl what she had to do, all very strange staff training while you have clients sitting there. We got our coffee brought and when almost finished the therapist came to see who was going first. Neither of us had finished our coffee but as I had drunk the most I agreed to go. I asked to use the loo but there was no light and when I came out nobody was there either so I waited a little while then went and got my phone to use the torch. The treatments themselves were fine, but the therapist seemed a little rushed at times and as she only had a 13 year old assistant I'm not surprised.
We then had our 'afternoon tea' which comprised of a cup of tea and a scone which was delicious but not exactly afternoon tea!
We were told stay as long as we liked as they were open until 7pm, which was lovely not to be rushed but not sure what we would have done for 7 hours sitting on a sofa???
I think the place has the potential to be a really good option but the management need to fine tune the service and employ the right people.

Save yourself the the hassle.... do NOT waste your hard earned money. Cancelled the night before twice after myself and my two other family members had booked the day off work both times! i am still thinking about legal action for the time and money I have wasted. Both times the staff have called in sick (not to mention the continually ignored emails when trying to re-book and the months waiting for a reply!). A year and 3 months after purchase I have finally received my refund!

My wife and her family has just had there visit cancelled for the third time. Each time a different excuse. Don't waste you time and money on this place, they don't deserve it.

Absolute disgrace - avoid like the plague

If I could give minus stars for this place, I would. Original trip booked in July 2017. Three cancellations later... Clearly they don't pay their staff properly as they seem to be off sick an awful lot. Not to mention "the fire damage" which was being fixed on the day of my appointment in April. Appalling customer committment and service. Do not bother with this company - it is pathetic. What they claim to offer is a lie. I have already challenged them that they are clearly prejudiced against customers who have booked through Groupon. I was assured that this was not the case. I shall be complaining to Groupon as well. Retreat Beaconsfield, complete time wasters and reneging on their offers. Bad, bad, bad.
