We were on the interstate, but opted to get off to have our afternoon coffee. Kind of wish we had spent more time in the sweet downtown of Sylva. As we waited for the coffees I perused the mercantile side of the shop. Lovely stuff.

We ordered several of their specialty flavored coffees and everyone really enjoyed them! The coffee bar employee was very nice and efficient. I loved all the fun seating areas that filled the space.
We spoke with the owner while browsing the mercantile side and she was very nice. We really loved the items she had in her store!

My sister and I popped in for a quick coffee. We wound up staying quite a length of time between the coffee shop and the store. Both are very unique. Excellent selection, quality, and price. The staff and owner are so personable! We can’t wait to come back on our visit next year!

1. The Farmhouse Mercantile & Coffee Bar is the perfect place to go and escape the busy noise of our daily lives. They have great coffee, great staff, great merchandise on the store side and and even greater place to simply hangout. I also heard that you can rent the space out on the coffee bar side for special events. How cool is that!! I will definitely be keeping them in mind for an event space

Discovered this coffee shop during our mountain vacation! We loved it! Came back several times during our stay. They have a gift shop next door with lots of great items for the home.

We stopped in for coffee while exploring Sylva. It’s a uniquely charming coffee shop, where everything is for sale (we were tempted to leave with a new table and lamp). The signature lattes were delicious, served up fast by a very friendly barista, and we enjoyed relaxing for a bit in this warm and cozy coffee shop.

What a cute find! We loved the little seating nooks for two. The whole place was very well done "farmhouse" vibe. The baraista was friendly and quick to make a tasty recommendation.

So I had a hour and a half to kill and I decided to google coffee shops. This one came up second but looked very good. So I decided what the hell. That was the best decision I made.
I walked in, the barista was super friendly, he brewed me the best latte ever. I’m not a fun of milk and sugar in my coffee but this one just hit a spot.
I am definitely coming back here. No question about that.
The coffee shop has a rustic look to it that just makes it MAGNIFICENT. It is so cozy and does not have your stereotype coffee shop look.
So all said, if you read this and you are ever in Sylva, drop by The Farmhouse Mercantile and Coffee Bar.

What an amazing gift shop and unique gifts! Eclectic items and many modern country lifestyle items.
A great Coffee Shop and very good bagels and cinnamon rolls! I had a macchiato and my wife had a fresh brew medium roast…. Both were great!
Highly recommend trying if in the area. We loved all this store had to offer.

Driving back from Cherokee in need of a caffeine fix. Open coffee shop with ample and interesting seating arrangement. Historical downtown photos of Sylva 'back in the day'. Comfortable seating area beyond the coffee bar. The adjoining store could put a significant dent in the finances if your spouse is in the buying mood.
