We had a great day exploring the Eurimbula National Park. The lookout provides incredible views across the wetlands and the beach was beautiful and deserted. The first of the two camp grounds (Eurimbula Creek) is lovely. You'll need a 4WD.

This beautiful area is a great escape from the bustling crowded areas of south east Queensland. It is an area undeveloped and largely unspoilt, a place where solitude is a real possibility without having to travel for days on end from the big smoke. I prefer this area in the cooler months and usually the sun is at the right strength to warm you but not make you toast.. A nature lovers area with lovely sandy beaches, but little surf, which can be more relaxing. I would like to explore this area in the future although some areas would only be accessibible by foot.or by 4wd vehicle.

Absolutely beautiful, beach acces with minimal people around. Great camping facilities on eurimbula creek, dort unmaintained track on the way in, ok in dry season for most cars but might require 4wd in wet season.

The roads in are OK for 4 x 4, despite corrugation. Very good campsites and shelter , but the toilet facilities need attention, but no that bad. Creek and beach meet here and a nice SE breeze to keep you cool.

A very pretty place to visit. Excellent scenery. Good 4x4 tracks. Plenty of places to camp. Book and pay online before going being a national park. Take all your own supplies.

Der Besuch im Eurimbula National Park ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, jedoch nur mit einem 4WD Fahrzeug! Man fährt durch die schönen Wälder zu verlassenen Stränden!

I've camped here a couple of times off peak and found it quiet. Varying size shady sites with a large shelter, toilets and a couple of water tanks available. I wouldn't rely on the water tanks being full though. Only half of the site are flat, the others have some small slope across them. On weekends I've been told it packs out and although you have to book, you can't book specific sites, so be early.

How would we access the sights in Eurimbula National Park with a regular car (not 4WD)? Can we get to the beach? Would prefer to stay off unpaved roads if possible. We like hiking, and a 5k round trip hike is no problem (but warn us if this snake country). Thanks.
Our favourite spot in the past has been Inskip Point.
Looking to camp in this area. Have a 4x4 with a caravan. Where would the best spot be to stay?

Eurimbula Creek camping area is a lovely location that I think you would thoroughly enjoy.
It is located some 14km off the main Agnes Waters road about 7km before town. Going into town there are clear signs to the national park that you shouldn't miss.
The first 8km is on gravel road with some corrugations but not too bad. Beyond that it becomes a sandy two wheel track to the camp ground. You will need reasonable clearance to get in.
It is no real problem for camper trailers but a large van, especially if not off-road, would be problematic if you met a vehicle coming the other way. This is possible on weekends and during holidays but less likely at other times.
