This doesn't really exist.
It is a historic house, but it isn't really open to the public, tab least not on any kind of regular basis. It is an ongoing restoration. It would be wonderful to tour, but no. Apparently there was a designer showcase there that people could visit, but that is gone.

Over the top restoration

Might never get done of course but the Historic Hudson enthusiasts are doing it right. The house is a fascinating study of a project committed to the pursuit of perfection. When it’s open as it was for the design showcase the historic halls come alive.

That staircase!

My husband and I visited here over Memorial Day weekend as a part of the Design Hudson open house. This house is stunning! The staircase alone is worth a visit. I loved that you were able to explore all three floors of this wonderful house. I can't wait to see the finished restoration! Definitely worth a visit.

Arrested decay never felt so alive.
The geometries and patter of this estate will conquer your hearts.
Time seem have stopped here, so beautiful I felt guilty whenever I got distracted for a few moments to pull out my camera(and you best bet I did it a lot, this place is a photo-enthusiast dream).
Props to Historic Hudson for preserving the authenticity of the estate.

is a work of art...and this house remains my ultimate favorite of all great early Hudson River homes...mainy early architectural features besides the elegance of its symmetry of lofty rooms and
bay windows.
The pentimento of layers of the semi restored interior. provokes a sort of visual poetry unlike any of the other neighboring great estate houses
Emily Dickenson fans will find solitary pleasures in wandering the decrepit grand rooms and the geometry of magnificent
central 3 story staircase..

Hudson's hidden gem - a vernacular architecture mansion from the Federal period
With limited hours, it's a challenge to be able to visit the house and walk through it's three floors of rooms ---- but if you love architecture and historic preservation, you won't want to miss the experience. The house is centered around a grand spiral staircase that winds it's way through the center of the house. Walking up the stairs is an experience in and of itself --- but you'll also be able to observe various stages of preservation underway throughout the house. The organization responsible has taken great care to preserve authentic details -- and that's clearly going to take some time.

Historical Home: A Labor of Love

The Dr. Oliver Bronson home is being brought back from the brink of oblivion by the dedicated work of local historic preservationists. Although there is a lot of restoration work still to do, you can see why it is on the Register of National Historic sites. With its graceful central staircase and large airy rooms, you can imagine what the place once looked like and what it will become once again. It is fascinating to see history being restored, since usually you only get to visit places like this once the work is done.

It is a spectacular house that has been saved from ruin and is undergoing restoration by Historic Hudson. A landmark in the history of American domestic architecture it is a must for anyone seriously interested in the history of the Hudson River.
