We drove out of our way to go here to pick up some 'Farmers Cone Creamery' ice cream (we'd sampled some at a local event and it was delicious and worth the extra drive to have again). What we hadn't know about the Hub was how it supports MANY local farmers. We left with not only ice cream but also locally made maple BBQ sauce and salad dressings. There is also grass-fed beef, specialty granola, chocolate, crafts, etc.
What also makes the Hub unique is the shopping experience. You pick out what you'd like and pay for it yourself. There is no 'staff' (though someone working in the kitchen was very friendly and came out to answer some questions for us).
This place not only provides a way to purchase goods, but it serves the local community! Great idea and an interesting experience!
