You get exactly what you see in pictures. Lovely surroundings in the middle of nowhere with your basic camping. It really is just a tipi tent with sleeping bags and wandering through a grassy area to get to the ablutions, which were clean. It certainly is not glamping and if you are not at least exposed to minimal camping you will not enjoy it. This is where the 3/5 comes in and had there been the extra friendliness and welcoming I would have scored higher. It is unfortunate as we enjoyed the storytelling by Darryl, and he seemed easy-going, but unfortunately, his wife, who runs reception and check-in, was unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Reading other negative reviews, it seems that there is a common denominator, which is such a pity as it is such a unique experience, with so much potential.

My mother and I stayed here for one night. I missed check-in by 10 minutes. We were not greeted upon arrival despite my call to warn them of our 10 minute delay. I knocked on their door. A very rude woman answered and we would have left except my mother was too tired from a day of hiking. We went to our teepee and the sleeping bag was such bad quality I thought I would get hypothermia in the night. Spent most of the night shivering in the bathroom and then shivering in the teepee until my mother got the fire going. However, the fire did not last long because they only gave us 3 matches. My Mom twisted her ankle in route to the bathroom during the night. I carried her to the teepee. I asked for a flashlight and was provided a broken one. Woke up at sunrise with a rodent on my face. We left.

whatever you see on the pictures, nothing else.
Had a terrible experience, if it's raining heavily and no one will be there to assist or the management didn't take care of minimum things.., with young children,
tried to call managemnt..they never answer after 9:30 pm..they're least bothered to provide minimum assistance
you will be surrounded by rainwater and all will be crowded back at the house and no coffees..or breakfast.

My family stayed one night at the Lodgepole Tipi’s while visiting Glacier National Park in July 2019 to avoid having to drive back and forth two days in a row from our RV camp site in Flathead Lake. What an amazing experience this was! We were visiting with three other families (each family had their own Tipi). Kids ranged from 8 yrs old to 13 yrs old. Everyone had the best time! Making reservations with Daryl over the phone was very easy. We arrived and Daryl was there to greet us and show us around. He kept the gallery open past operating hours as we arrived late - it was very nice of him to do that. The restrooms consist of two toilet stalls and two shower stalls as well as two sinks. There is a common area for guests where they provide TV, WiFi, towels, coffee, hot chocolate, games, books, a microwave & a refrigerator to use if needed. The tipi bedding (tarp, camping mattress, sleeping bag, pillow & blanket) were perfectly comfortable and clean. The fire pit in the tipi was a really fun and unique experience and kept all of us plenty warm. This experience cannot be replicated. I disliked reading the negative reviews on here after visiting because I cannot think of a single negative thing to say. It was definitely camping in the sense that we slept on grass with a tarp and sleeping bags in a tipi. But that was exactly what we expected and hoped for. There are also a couple of cute small cabins available if you must be indoors. All in all this was a highlight for all four families during a 2 week RV road trip from Northern California. Our children will never forget this and neither will we. I hope we can return and stay again another time.

My wife is not the most outdoorsy and she enjoyed it. The couple was very accommodating.
The bath house and bathroom was very clean.
It minimizes the whole outdoorsy experience. But, there is WiFi in the “common room” for those of you that cannot go unplugged and enjoy nature.

We spent two nights in a tipi and loved it. We also did a craft with the Blackfeet owner, which was lovely and made a nice souvenir to bring home. The couple who run the place are friendly and run a nice, clean, easygoing camp. The tipi was cozy and comfortable. They set up the firepit all ready to light if you want it (we didn't need it, as we were there in July). There's also a community firepit with picnic tables if you are looking for some evening camaraderie. The common areas and showers and bathrooms are all clean and well-maintained. There's a small fridge to use and a microwave and toaster. We had sleeping bags so we didn't rent the linen package but peeking into other tipis the rental package looked comfortable. We would gladly stay here again. It's close enough to the Two Medicine entrance for Glacier National Park to make it a reasonable and well-priced choice in high season.

What a great experience!! A fun and different way to camp. The tipi village is one of a kind!! Had a lot of laughs sitting around the fire at night playing games. There are not many places to eat near by, but we drove to East Glacier which was about a 15 minute ride. Bathrooms were decent, nothing special but clean and better than a porter potty when camping out.

I had visited the gallery 5 years ago and ever since staying in one of their tipis on the prairie has been on my bucket list. I finally had the opportunity to stay there June, 2018. It was a really nice experience. The hosts were awesome and very helpful. There was a clean restroom/shower area to use as well as a grill, a group common room inside if needed. The tipis were beautiful. I rented a mat for underneath my sleeping bag and I slept very comfortably. I definitely would stay there again!

Best guess summer. I would double check the weather. You may want to bring extra clothes as the weather can shift. They do have a fire inside and sleeping bags. If you need more help let me know.
