Do you get a wristband or stamp to get on and off the course during the day?
Once you pay admission you're given a wristband, but it is only for one experience on the course that lasts approximately a half hour. Once you come down and are de-harnessed your experience is over.
Please tell me about the Sprouts course for younger children. Is it challenging enough 6 & 8 year olds or can they manage the full course?
Hi Carolyn! Bean Sprout is a Sky Tykes ropes course, which is just a smaller version of the large Sky Trail. The platforms are only 2’ 8” off the ground so parents can provide any level of assistance needed. It's specifically for kids under 48" tall. The 6 and 8 year old could start on the Bean Sprout and then perhaps advance to the Beanstalk if they felt comfortable. You'd just have to pay the up graded difference in price. Those between 42-48" tall must be accompanied by an adult to go on the Beanstalk, however.
What are the hours? Do you need to reserve a time? What does it cost? Is it suitable for a 12 year old with some experience?
Beanstalk is open Mon-Thurs 10am-9pm, Fri-Sat 10am-10pm and Sun 11am-7pm. The cost is $12 for the Sky Trail ropes course and the Sky Rail zip line together or just $10 for the Sky Trail. The Sky Tykes ropes course (for kids under 48" tall) is $6. Each course is suitable for all abilities, with or without experience, because the safety system and overhead track allows participants to move around freely at their own pace.
