I watched a comedy show here, The John Mulaney Files. First of, he is just as funny in person, as he is in his Netflix show. I highly recommend for John Mulaney fans.

The Largo is quite small, so it's great for intimate and up close performances. Any seat would be just fine. There's an outdoor area prior to entering which is eclectic and charming. There's also a cozy bar in the front, which I recommend before and after the show.

I've seen three shows here and always enjoy myself. It's in a nice area (near Beverly Center) and attracts a cool crowd. Not a lot of room between the rows so use the restroom first so you don't have to mumble "excuse, me, excuse me" nine hundred times while sticking your junk in people's faces.

This venue is quite small like an old style movie theatre. It's great if you are near the front (like we were), but the slope is negligible so those in the back must have struggled. Make sure to arrive early or your group might not have seats together. We arrived an hour ahead and got the last set of 4 seats together. No drinks are allowed in the theatre so keep that in mind.

My wife and I were staying nearby and decided to check out an improv show at the Largo. The theater is cool and intimate. It was convenient for us to stop by early for tickets and a seat assignment. Some lame things too: cash only and no drinks in the theater. The show was just OK - so meh...

Saw a How Did This Get Made podcast taping here and absolutely loved the venue. Historic and very hip venue, really intimate show room with no bad seats in the house and a nice little bar. Cool courtyard as well. One of the better venues for comedy you will ever come across.

There are pluses and minuses to seeing shows at the Largo. Wait. Before I even get started, i want to point out that I do not understand why they named this the Largo when it opened. It is NOTHING like the real Largo that used to be on Fairfax and why can't they just name new businesses new names? This will always be FAKE LARGO to me. /rant

So, I'll start with the positives for me. I actually LIKE that you come early, wait in line, get a SEAT assignment, and then can head out and eat before the show starts - there are lots of nice places to eat nearby. It's frustrating having to get somewhere an hour ahead, but I prefer doing it when I can get a seat assignment, then when you have to stand in line for HOURS because its a free for all once the door opens. Let me think. Okay, that's the positive.

Here's what I do not like. The seats flat out suck. You are in a small auditorium with standard auditorium seating - or maybe child's auditorium seating, so no rising towards the back, ZERO leg room, and made for tiny people, so plan on being super uncomfortable. Oh, if you have to go to the bathroom, which, as someone with a tiny bladder, I invariably DO, forget it. Die from an exploding bladder or upset everyone around you, because everyone MUST stand to let you out of your row. Unless you get front row, IT SUCKS.

Bathroom is tiny, so plan on waiting when you DO go to the ladies room.

I don't mind the whole no cell phones thing. I'm capable of being quiet although I think they're sort of weird about the being quiet thing. I don't HAVE to take photos and I enjoy the closeness to the artists you're seeing when you're up front, which I always have been. The intimate venue makes seeing a show nice, but I just don't know that the benefits outweigh the suckiness of the seating.

They have a snack bar and you can get hot tea, water, soft drinks and cookies. Pretty much that's it. There is a little bar there and one time it was open right after we got our tickets, but the last time, we got our tickets and were sent away and the bar didn't open until later. Ended up okay as we went to eat, then came back and hit the OTHER bar next door, the Roger Room, which is AWESOME.

I truly miss the Real Largo. I miss having dinner while I watch a show and having cocktails while watching a show and literally being an arms length from the artist you're there to see. THAT was Largo. This is the Coronet.

Fantastic place to see a comedian - multiple places with good food within a block or two, small but cozy spot, friendly service.

Largo at 366 N. La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA is an older, small intimate venue, not a bad seat anywhere. We saw Colin Hay, lead singer Men at Work band from the early 80's, and he was fabulous. When you buy your tickets, you need to get there early to get your seat assignment. Then go have dinner somewhere. There is a bar next door called the Little Room, very quaint with a small stage. We walked 1 block to the Beverly Center Mall and wandered around. We got our seat assignment at 6:30 and the concert didn't start until 9:00. There is NO LATE SEATING, so make sure you are on time getting back. Years ago I saw the play Menopause there and that was also great. Parking is $10.00 next door or metered parking on the street. There are several places to grab Sushi or a sandwich within 1-2 blocks walking distance or go to the mall. When we got to our seats there was very loud music playing before the concert. It would be great if they would turn it down to background music so it wouldn't blast your ears. We love this place and look forward to coming back.

We really enjoyed the new band Nancy and Beth in their second (ever) show at Largo. The venue is interesting and has an old-fashioned, rusty feel which we loved but some may not. We found the smaller venue made for a more intimate, cosy show.

We loved seeing Tim Minchin in this small venue but the Largo itself is just weird!!! From the icky burning incense to the crazy, wacked out, way too loud music before the show started... tripping hazard in the little bar just inside and they only serve beer and wine. I think the place could be really cool if it was tweaked a bit...

My own opinion of course, but I just don't get why burning smelly incense and playing super loud, weird music is appealing (and I like loud music if it's good!)... And I don’t get why you have to check in at 6PM for an 8PM show...

There is nothing to do close by so if you pay to park you are stuck until the show starts~
