Always something different
jun de 2019 • Casais
They have different exhibits all year long. They really have a great interpretation of local history. $5 for Adults and $2 for kids. FREE every 1st Thursday and 3rd Sunday. Current exhibit is Hometown Teams. This family friendly and interactive exhibit has made it all the way from the Smithsonian to Auburn's White River Valley Museum.

Innovative Exhibits in a Small Town Museum
ago de 2018 • Amigos
For a small museum, White River Valley Museum hits all the high notes. It has its traditional historic and local exhibits relevant to the region, and always features an innovative exhibition that is curated with accuracy, creativity, and innovation. During the time i was there, the featured exhibition focused on Women and Lingerie over the decades.

In addition, the museum coordinates with a historical working farm where tours are given and green space is available for the public to enjoy. Well worth a visit!

The museum has a free parking lot. There is a nominal admission charge. The staff is very friendly. There is a good amount of information about the White River Valley. The museum has a small gift shop.

Perfect little history museum
mai de 2018 • Amigos
I've lived in the Puget Sound area for fifty years and I just LOVE this little museum! Wonderful permanent exhibits about local history (native and immigrant peoples) and fascinating temporary exhibits (looking forward to the Sasquatch exhibit begining July 2018). I think this museum is the perfect size -- not overwhelming, yet so interesting and informative!!

Lovely little museum, well kept by caring folks and engaged docents to answer any questions. Interesting exhibits supplement the permanent displays. Nice.

This is a great little museum with a lot to see and learn about the history of the Auburn area. The displays are very well done and include a number of artifacts from the early days in Auburn. There are buildings or parts of buildings from pioneer days that have been moved and are part of the exhibits. There is even a caboose to explore. Great museum to explore and it won't take all day. If you take your time, I would estimate 1 to 2 hours. It is next to a park with a playground and a spray type water park (spray water park open from Memorial Day to Labor Day). There are also places to have a picnic and great shade trees as well. Great summertime family activity!
