Paradise for Bird Lovers
nov de 2020 • A sós
The best time to visit this place is in winter when you can spot a large number of migratory birds as well as resident birds. Bring a binocular and a camera to see the birds on the trees and the water bodies. There is a walking path along the perimeter of the park and there are a few watch towers for enhanced viewing. You can easily spend 2 - 3 hours here.

Still closed due to bird flu
fev de 2021
Please dont go right now , the park is closed due to bird flu and covid. All national parks and even bharatpur bird sanctuary is open but sultanpur is closed with no clear indication on when will it open. Haven’t experienced the park itself so this rating is for lack of info from the park authorities on opening dates leading to inconvenience for visitors.

Hidden heaven for birds

Visit here in the months of December or January and you could really enjoy the rich bio diversity of this place. Small but very well managed!

Calm and serene
jan de 2021 • Amigos
The place is secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place is less crowded and you get a sense of calm once you are there. However, apart from the peace there's very little to do over there. We were able to spot a few of the rare bird species over there though.
A one time visit.

Amazing trip, spotted birds
jan de 2021
We went there with a group of friends. The place is calm, serene, less crowded, and you actually experience nature in it's full glory. The place is very natural, not well manicured - that adds to the feeling. The best part was that we were able to spot some rare birds that we hadn't seen before.

Multiple variety of birds
nov de 2019
Sultanpur national park bird sanctury is about one and a half hour from Gurgaon. It was the month of November, so there were only a few migratory birds. Most of the migratory birds were expected in January. But still there were many type of birds

A gem in Delhi Ncr
out de 2019 • Amigos
Barely 20 kilometres away from where I stay, the Sultanpur National Park is truly one of the best places, especially for bird lovers, in Delhi NCR. Am not saying this just because it's located at a convenient distance from my place. This place is really good. I have visited other bird havens in Delhi Ncr like the Okhla Bird Sanctuary and the Aravalli Biodiversity park and hence I can confidently say that the Sultanpur National Park is miles ahead of all other birding havens in Delhi NCR. The facilities provided by the park authorities are truly excellent. There are designated parking slots. There are restrooms at the entrance. There is a Hotel (Rosy Pelican, run by the Haryana Tourism) next to the park. Now there is a boundary wall between the two, earlier there was no such boundary. Compare this to the much hyped Okhla Bird Sanctuary which does not have a parking slot. So you park your vehicle on the road and pray that no one messes with it while you are birding. To make matters worse there are no restrooms at Okhala Bird Sanctuary. So to answer nature call, you have the whole nature at your disposal ( true how much more closer can you get to nature). What makes the Sultanpur is that inspite of providing excellent facilities, the entry fee and the camera fee is nominal. If i remember correctly, the entry fee for two along with 2 DSLRs is less than Rs 100. Compare that with the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, the fee for a DSLR is a whopping Rs 500 per camera. However, what makes Sultanpur standout is the variety it offers. If you like water birds there are specific areas, in the park where you can go. If you like birds typically found on land there is a designated stretch, much like Bharatpur. The Okhla Bird Sanctuary does not believe is any such distinction. To see the Sultanpur National Park in its true glory, go there in the winter months. The variety of birds will blow you. From the Siberian Stonechat to the Bluethroat and even the Rosy Pelican you get them all. Next time you are in Delhi do visit the place. Even if you don't like birds, go there for a walk. The park offers a 3.5 kilometre walking stretch and the entry fee without a camera is around Rs 20. Do you need any other motivation to go?

一般的な散歩用公園
nov de 2019
双眼鏡をもって様々な鳥を探しに行くのもいいが、双眼鏡を持たずに深く考えずに散歩をするコースとしてもおすすめ。デリー、グルガオンの喧騒から逃れるには絶好の距離。

Good birding during migratory season
dez de 2019
Easy to get to by road from Delhi (took an Ola hire as I wasnt sure about whether I could get an uber/ola from there for return). Fairly clean toilet at entrance, didnt see any inside. Unlike some other birding areas, the place doesnt smell of sewage. Numerous migratory species in December. Early morning there are fairly few people (mainly birders and photographers), later around 11 becomes more crowded.

BIRD SANCTUARY
out de 2019
Visited the sanctuary in October 2019. Though there weren't many birds around at that time it was a good experience. The park is having a vehicle to take visitors around for a very nominal fee and the driver doubles up as guide. He told us that though around this time of the year Migratory birds are usually present, at the moment they have not yet arrived. At the entrance they have descriptive information w.r.t. birds, which is quite informative.
There is a resort adjacent to the sanctuary which has decent accommodation and a cafeteria.
