1, Rushed to pay money, and then tell u about the awesome rule tat u CANNOT enter the cat room again (even if u / ur kid needs to leave for a toilet visit 5 mins after entering).
2, 8/10 cats there are extremely fat and sleep thru out, and most don't even respond to treats.
3, We are seasoned cat owners, yet approaching the 1st lazing cat, my kid was pawed for no reason. Knowing animals, i explained to my kid tat it is a one-off angry cat, and we moved on.
4, Kid wanted to touch a sleeping cat, and after the first cat's experience, I replied "let daddy wake the cat up first", and what i had in mind was to VERBALLY meow the cat. But before I even opened my mouth, one staff barked rudely "why would u want to wake the cat, let the cat sleep", like barking an order.
5, For the kid's sake, I ignored him and brought my kid away instead of punching his face. Animal lovers without upbringing?
6, Hung around doing nothing for a while and finally came to another cat tat is awake. DOING EXACTLY the CORRECT way of approaching a cat, my kid GENTLY touch the head between the ears. 2nd stroke and the cat strikes.
7, Kid burst out crying. INSTEAD of rushing to see if anyone was badly hurt, the few staff around immediately "SHHHhhh" loudly like my kid just broke their rice bowl .
8, I stormed my 4 yr old out to safety and in absolute annoyance. At the admin area, STILL NO ONE asked about injury, so dont even talk about first aid. Their hasty and ONLY respond was to quickly defend their brand name and tried to insinuate tat we aren't approaching the cat correctly WHEN NONE OF THEM SAW US doing anything incorrectly. We played with stray cats all our lives! I would have sued them if I took a video of what happened. Lady Manager was so adamant in protecting her cats and business tat she totally lost the plot of things and continued to make meaningless remarks about how they never had a case in their past 3 years, and how I raised my voice. What is important here? It was clear to see.
9, These ppl just care about getting business. Aren't fit to be in this line. No heart. And do they even have a first aid box around. While my kid is crying her eyes out, manager was so into telling me how her past 60k customers were all happy. For the first time in my life, I had to show my fury in front of my kid. Thanks to this experience, my kid frown and say "don't want cat" everytime I mentioned the word "cat" since then. Be wary. Check it up if they are really a profit making company or non-profit making one. The cashier box even had a donation word stuck on it. Go to a more decent cat cafe please.

As you can see, my username is literally Margaretthecatlady and I have 12 cats which I each love very much! More than my three year old daughter. So I was quite dissapointed when I went to this museum because there was no real exhibit for the Cat Goddess Purrleena, which I feel is very disrespectful toward the cat race! Not pleased at all!

這個貓博物館亦是一個領養中心,義工們都很有愛心及耐性。館內分三個區。成貓比較淡定,幼貓就較活潑,兩者都很可愛呢。

We sought out this little museum, which is tucked away and not well signed, but on locating it, we found they have very limited opening times and we were much too early for their 2pm to 4pm opening hours. Sadly, we couldn't wait in the area for that time, so missed out on seeing what they have to offer. As we didn't actually get to visit I cannot comment on the content. May be next time we're in Singapore, we'll have better luck.

You may read some ridiculously stuffy reviews by self absorbed people who cannot appreciate the lovely work this non-profit is doing to provide new adoptive homes for stray kitties.

I am a Cat Person and I had a great time. The place was clean and had lots of cats, some of whom are permanent pets of the staff while others were rescued from street peril. A kitten area was also full of fun loving adolescents.

I stayed awhile and pet the cats, played and teased them with feathers and had a great time. The staff is very caring and not pretentious about the mission they have undertaken.

If you are a cat lover, definitely worth a visit!

During a recent trip to Singapore and being cat people we were keen to pop into the Cat Museum located near our hotel, on Purvis Street.

Being from the UK we have places or "Cafe's" where you can visit cats, play with them and take some photos. These place have strict hygiene, strict numbers of guests and all in a well ventilated and decorated open plan layout.

This place was not like this, it is an adoption site for cats, spread over what looked like a residential area of three floors all accessible via a lift. The first thing we noticed before entering was the strong cat smell which was off putting. The litter trays, food bowls and water bowls all looked clean and full but the cats roamed about areas that looked better suited as a laundry unit.

We didn't stay long and legged it out, the kitten petting area was over crowded and there wasn't a limit of people allowed in.

No, it's not really a museum, where you see pictures of cats on the walls. This is better: a place for you to hangout with really lovely friendly cats. This is a place every cat-lover should check out. The location is easy to access, well-planned: you have the floor of "super star cats": all exotic and fancy looking, the floor for cats that available for adoption, then kitten room, and also nursery room for pregnant cat that they rescue. The money people pay for ticket will in turn helps the shelter/adoptive cats, also the visitor are welcomed to apply for adoption if they find one they love to take home. It's a win-win. The place is also great for stress-relieved. What's more wonderful than an hour or two hanging out with these lovely fur balls?

This is a non-profit organization run by cat loving volunteers.
Being bitten by a cat many years ago, I am not too keen for cats. But the volunteers there were so nice to teach me and my kids how to approach and pet the cats. We tried to play with kittens but you know cats are egocentric animals and one cannot expect them to want to play with you all the time.
There are nice display of the characteristics of each cat, and it was nice to meet Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Prince Harry and Prince Charles there.
The 3 white cats with one blue eye and one yellow eye awesome.
The visiting hours on most days is 16:00-19:00, after the cats' nap time.

I attempted to visit this place earlier in the week but unfortunately the opening times are quite restricted. It's worth checking before you go (not a big issue for me as I was in the area anyway).
