Was disappointed to drive all the way out to the gardens to find a closed sign on the entrance. I had checked before leaving to make sure it was open. A good part of the day wasted

The paths and garden at this place are overgrown which makes it untidy. The exhibits need some TLC as well. The views are good but the whole place needs to be maintained to a better standard.

I went to the looking glass gardens yesterday and my first impression was that it was amazing but as we got further in we noticed that quite a few paths had actually overgrown and you couldn’t go on the path because of that, the walk was amazing but I just think they need to maintain it better, the exhibits needed cleaning, for example one house hadn’t been maintained in so long that there was cobwebs and flies absolutely everywhere, also there was supposed to be a pond in one spot and I remember there being a pond because I came here a couple years ago but the pond had been drained and the hole wasn’t even blocked off, someone could fall in it!!
Overall I just think they need to maintain it better, and who knows what they do with the “maintanence” donations they require for you to enter

As well intended as i think the owners want it to be, in a lovely bush setting, the pathways are not well maintained with overgrown areas. There is no clear direction of walking when you hit multiple intersections. The sculptures are not well maintained and look derilect. The toilets were out of order. I dont think the honesty box is a good idea because there should be someone to welcome visitors considering you have driven a fair way to get to it. Their facebook page is very misleading as it does not represent what the garden looks like now. Plus there have been no updates on the page for 12 months. The gardens need a full time caretaker and someone on the shop front. A lovely concept but very dissappointing.

These are beautiful gardens that will take you back to your childhood. Wear decent walking shoes and bring snacks/picnic as no cafe facilities currently on site. Some of the paths and areas need a little bit of maintenance, and I believe work is underway, but in some ways it also adds to the charm. Like you are stumbling across these places for the 1st time.
Visit the houses the 3 pigs built or Grandma's cottage from Little Red Riding Hood. Incredible views of the countryside if you make the big climb up the Stairway to Heaven. If it is too much there are lovely views from elsewhere too. Will definitely visit again.

The garden was poorly maintained, with pathways overrun with plants and littered with debris. Sadly, we did not get to see the whole garden as the map (which the owners lazily attached to a door with duct tape) was confusing. The abandoned, derelict nature of the garden sends off an uninviting and creepy vibe. We made it as far as ‘Grandma’s House’, before turning back the way we came and left. The house itself looked well put together, and with a lick of paint (and copious amounts of febreeze), could be appealing to children. Nearby were two animal pens, which presumably once held pigs (based upon the map readings), however they were disused. The door leading inside were ajar - hopefully whatever once lived there made a lucky escape. Overall a really disappointing experience. The owners have the cheek to ask visitors to place $5 admission per adult in an honesty box. Clearly they have no ambition of maintaining the place, so it’s rather dishonest on their part to accept money.

Definitely a great escape from the city to get back to nature. Love this beautiful place - so calming.
We went on a rainy day and it was still such a good time.
The statues and garden decor makes it fun for all ages and the lookout is so worth the climb (stairway to heaven) 😇
Will continue to come back & defo recommend to others!

This was our second visit to this 'garden' since 2016 and I hoping to see some changes and improvements. But instead.....it looks like no work has been done at all and most of it looks neglected. Please don't visit this garden expecting to see lots of flowers and plantings. Instead there are lots of bare patches of dirt and leaves and many weeds.... The trees are nice and the children enjoyed the little houses along the way but really, I expected a bit more so was disappointed. It's a large area so will likely take a lot of effort to make it really wonderful but when you are charging people an entry fee, I believe you have to make the effort, or at least try.

Hubby and I loved the Looking Glass Garden.

We actually visited here in December 2017!

The fairy tale nursery rhyme theme garden is beautiful (could do with a lil more maintenance here and there though).

The stairway to heaven (196 steps to the top) was our fave and the view was an amazing surprise 🖤
