A large bar with a small stage for karaoke/music. Irishman Thomas and his partner Lauren were good to have a chat with. We visited 3 or 4 times during our weeks stay. Fair priced drinks, sport on several TV's , and we took part in the Friday night karaoke.

We generally try and frequent local (Portuguese establishments) rather than the generic types of bars. However this bar with Portuguese staff had us coming back several times in the lunchtime period to sample the excellent value food on the menu. Baguettes. Toasties and salads. Also plenty of burger options that we didn’t try. Very impressed with the attentive staff and good quality .. well worth a visit. .. not sure about the music as we had Christmas tunes on in September but hey ho it’s an Irish bar and who are we to complain 😂😂

Met the owners of the bar who both have excellent customer service, the burgers were fantastic with a great pint of Guinness, I wish them both great success into there second season, would highly recommend

It is an Irish pub and this year we came to Monte Gordo for the 2nd time and again every night we went to this pub. It is cozy, you feel very welcome. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious and of excellent quality!! The cocktails are also delicious 🥰. Hopefully we can go to Monte Gordo again in September 💖💖 and then we can definitely be found at this pub in the evening 🥰🍹🍺💝

Great bar for food and drink, sport, karaoke etc. Had our first meal there when we arrived and
we weren’t disappointed, we both really enjoyed it. We both had a few glasses wine with the food
and was amazed at the price. Service is excellent and I’m sorry I didn’t ask the young lady who served
us her name, but anyone who goes there will know her, she never stops and always has a smile for everyone.
A return visit is definitely on the cards in future.

Excellent bar which now also serves food. Visited here several times during our stay in Monte Gordo. Excellent Guinness and brilliant staff. Great for watching sports and also has great karaoke later in the evening. Even if that is not your thing the layout of the bar means you can sit back and enjoy the music without getting involved. Highly recommend a visit.

A great pub.Very friendly and accommodating.They put on a special football match on the TV just for us(our local team were playing at Wembley).We returned several nights after that.Their burgers are super delicious

Fabulous Irish bar and resturaunt located just off of Monte Gordo beach. The homemade beef burgers were so tasty and good value! Best Guinness and cocktails in town! They also have live coverage of different sporting events on multiple screens. Highly reccommend visiting Toucans for great service, atmosphere and high quality beverages and food!

Really great staff and atmosphere.
I only had the pleasure of staying a few nights in Monte Gordo but fortunately found this place on day 1.
Was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed every moment.
Food is awesome, sports on and Karaoke after!
