Lovely big pool, we Bluetits usually swim in the sea, but when it’s too choppy it’s fabulous to have the seawater baths open for us to enjoy. Plenty of room for swimming. Hot showers and clean changing rooms. 22 April water temp over 15c, warmer than the sea!

The pool has only just opened so very cold but we rented wet suits and my teenage children loved it! The lifeguards were friendly and helpful. A really good morning out.

My family loved the inflatables course, great fun for big kids! Easy parking nearby as its a little removed from the centre of town & seaside walk nearby for any family members not wishing to partake.

Visited the kiosk at Lymington Sea Water Baths today. On the blackboard fish and chips were advertised, I ordered cod and chips, the fish came out like a flat patty, I asked the lady serving what was it and she said that’s the fish, I commented on the look of it and she replied it gets delivered to them like that and they just fry it.
It was horrible, one would have thought that next door to the sea the Fish would be fresh and good, not pre packed frozen.
They should say so on their menu board that the fish is pre prepared already batterd and frozen.
Ok it was only £5. But customer should be informed of the quality.
They have a monopoly there, so no competition.

We did the inflatable assault course.
Fantastic value for money. It was a big mix of kids, families and adults and everyone was having a whale of a time.
Thought we'd be exhausted early on but there is plenty of variation and it really was a perfect length of time to not be completely knackered after!
Staff were all very friendly.

Absolutely great place for a family day. The atmosphere here is fantastic, staff really welcoming, and the pool / inflatables / toys are superb. We love going back here, and would really recommend.

We visited Lymington Sea Water Baths on a Thursday morning in the middle of the school summer holidays. We're a couple of big kids in our 30s & I shouldn't admit it but both aren't the biggest fan of children! So the idea of spending 90 minutes on a sea water inflatable in this time just filled me with dread! We booked as we'd not seen anything else like this on the sea. We've seen smaller ones on lakes but this looked pretty good. £15 for 90 minutes. We took the risk....
And wow did it pay off!! We booked the 0900 slot & it was much quieter than expected! We expected to have a bit of a play about & thought we'd be bored within half an hour but 90 minutes in & we were still going & could have gone for longer! 😂 It really was such good fun. There's a main obstacle course plus 3 or 4 smaller ones. We didn't really have to queue & could just keep going. We weren't the only older ones there & there were plenty of parents getting involved too so it worked well. There were a lot of staff around to help & all very friendly. We got wetsuits & glad we did as it does help you stick to the inflatable. We saw a few kids without who were all shivering so I do recommend getting wetsuits. There are changing rooms on site & a couple of showers plus a cafe area & seating. They also do paddle boarding for £8 per person - it's a small area but it's also the cheapest we've seen anywhere so for kids wanting an introduction it's well worth it.
Honestly can't recommend it enough.
I pulled my finger 10 minutes in which hurt the rest of the way around but I didn't think much of it so carried on - turns out I dislocated it & nearly 2 weeks later I'm still in pain & bandaged up! 🤦🏻♀️ Still, I'd go back & play on it all again & I would recommend it for people of all ages.

Excellent inflatable experience for the teens. £15 for 90 minutes, great value. Best to wear a wet suit as water is not heated. Facilities to change and snack bar available

Booked for just a swim with my brother and nephews. Unfortunately only myself and one youngster were able to attend and he couldn't go in so we had to watch our friends having a great time. The kiosk attendants kindly gave us a free ice cream to get over the disappointment. Such a thoughtful gesture

We booked the kids on the paddle boarding.... little disappointed as the area was very small for paddle boarding. It's ok if you are new to it but we've done it before so wasn't what we wanted. The cost is low so perhaps we should have realised

Would you recommend wetsuits for a swim? Or do people just wear swim suits?

My daughter wore a wetsuit, probably wise as you slide along the inflatables and water can get chilly. It’s great fun - enjoy!

How do they keep water clean
Margaret W

Salt water has natural anti bacterial properties, so less chemicals would be required.

Is Lymington Lido heated?

No, sadly it is not. However, you can hire wetsuits if required. Our grandchildren were having such a good time that they did not notice the cold water although, after about an hour, I had to drag them out for a hot chocolate to warm them up. Sorry for delay in replying. I have been away in Canada.
Are there lockers for valuables while you are swimming?

No lockers, there are chairs outside where you can leave your belongings on view. Just like if you were on holiday abroad around a pool
Can you bring your own kayak
