Called in on our way home from Great Malvern. Had to pass through the cafe to get to the ticket office where free access under HHA easily gained (otherwise £12.50pp).
As arriving after 2pm made our way to the hall and made very welcome. No restrictions on photos, in fact encouraged.
Lots of artwork on display with an original Stubbs. Some unusual displays of porcelain and the library had concealed doors.
Guides in most rooms were quite helpful on an as required basis.
Grounds quite extensive and able to walk around to the church/chapel that is actually the parish church but has an interconnecting door to the hall.
Did not visit the woodland, train or children's areas as of little interest.

Bizarre experience. I concur exactly with many of the negative reviews. Over priced, unwelcoming, no signage , maps that are useless, train that you only know costs £3 per person when walking to the station(after having paid £26 on entry), It’s clear the Duke doesn’t want visitors, as for all the walks, gardens there are precious few benches to rest and take in the scenery, only benches with no back rest. The walled gardens and garden maze is unkempt.
Small cafe is overpriced. And Granary is expensive. It seems to me the Duke is making is money by selling property on the estate. Visitors are somewhat a pain in the a***.

On a whim decided to visit today after looking through the website. Me, my husband and our 2 1/2 yr old. It’s £8 per adult and under 4’s free so not too bad for entry prices.

1st we walked over the the playground which is excellent, all the equipment it well looked after and some of it quite new, my little girl loved it.

They have a miniature railway that you can access from the playground area, my little girl was very excited to go on so off we went, £3 per person was a bit steep I thought seen as we’d already paid the entry fee. It takes about 15mins to go round and honestly theres not much to see, lakes and anything else picturesque you might want to see is obscured by large bushes and trees which makes the price per person even more annoying.

After this we decided to venture into the woods to do the fairy trail, you download an app and follow the map round. The map is useless and is not detailed enough for you to find some of the stopping points so we missed a few, but when we found them my daughter liked seeing the fairy’s on my phone and we did some of the tasks that the fairies set.

Whilst doing the fairy trail we took in the gardens, woods, house, orchard, greenhouse and walled gardens all beautiful and well kept.

We also did the maze and visited the church which was lovely and peaceful.

After using all our own supplies and with it being a super hot day we wanted some extra drinks, the cafe and pizzeria weren’t open so had to use the brassiere, WOW came to just over £11 for 3 small drinks! Make sure you bring enough of your own supplies!

All in all it’s a beautiful place to visit and we would go back.

Pros: beautiful grounds, playground, woods, great to explore

Cons: cost of drinks and the railway, railway needs some more interesting things to see and the fairy trail needs to be easier to use.

Just love walking in the beautifully kept parkland - woods, tracks, fields, sheep, pools & wonderful architecture! Last visited yesterday, hence June btw
And then a quick coffee at the cafe where dogs are welcome outside (some covered seating)
All the staff are lovely & helpful
Day entry isn't cheap but u could definitely spend a 2 or 3 hours there & they do events such as horse trials, art exhibitions, plant fairs etc
There is a lovely restaurant, the granary, that we're yet to try

We visited as it was a possible wedding venue for us. So firstly we visited the restaurant where the staff were lovely but the food was cold. Not a good start. Then we paid £19 to visit the gardens. We made our way to the playground and railway with our 9 month old only to find that the toddler area was cordoned off. There had been a sign to say that new equipment was being installed but it didn’t say what equipment couldn’t be used. The girl on the desk should have flagged to us before we paid. Anyway we thought we would take her on the miniature railway instead…only to find that that was £3 each. That was enough for us. We left and I complained on the way out. The girl was rude “there is a sign to say that new equipment is being installed” and so I asked to see the manager. He gave us vouchers for us to come another day but we won’t bother.

Went there to enjoy the landscaping of Capability Brown but was disappointed and almost £60 lighter in my pocket. Three of us all adults rocked up yesterday. Decided to have food first, something light for lunch we thought. The brasserie was a no no and caters for the well healed who typically drive luxury SUV's. The cafe was the only other option and with a limited menu you either had pizza or sweet waffles. The 12 inch pizzas cost £12 a piece which was very expensive. You can get a decent pizza and beer for around £6 at Wetherspoon! The two we had very just average. I spent over £30! After the food and drink we were told it cost £9 per adult to enter the estate. The main house was closed. There are not many sign posts, one to miniature railway and kids playground. Don't recall seeing any signs for the gardens near the house. We spent ages walking across the pastures and realised that this place is a massive sheep farm. Came across no architectural structures or follies that I expected from such a stately house and what I did see "The temple of Diana" was a private residence. On our walk we encountered 4 human beings. I can understand it was February but to be honest it was poor value for money. Even Chatworths House which I adore would be buzzing this time of year and I don't mind spending good money to see their gardens and house. Regret going to this place and never want to see sheep again.

Enjoyed the enchanted wood, the lighting of the trees was lovely. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was because at the end of the walk we ended inside an overcrowded room, whereby some people were not wearing masks and we felt uncomfortable in light of the pandemic. We thought it would be all outside..

My family went to the dining in the house event on Friday 17th December and it was simply exquisite! It felt covid secure yet the precautions taken by the team did not dampen the Christmas spirit! We actually rang in advance to see what the covid protocols were as, due to recent news reports, we were understandably concerned about attending an event with other people,, and a lovely lady called Andrea was very helpful in reassuring us, and for ensuring that the protocols were followed on the night. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so luxurious and Christmassy. It was a very expensive event but totally worth it. Shall definitely book again next year!

Enchanted Weston was fantastic. The lighting effects on the trees was magical and, as an outdoor event, it felt very safe. Staff has worked very hard to ensure social distancing was possible. Staggered entry times gave visitors time to enjoy the walk without feeling crowded. Plenty of food and drink stalls ensuring short waiting times. Well worth the entrance fee We would definitely visit again
