We were staying locally and went for dinner on our last evening. Six happy diners, we all had different meals and enjoyed it very much. We had fish & chips, burgers, steak, macaroni cheese and the seafood platter. Good pub food and a lovely atmosphere inside.

We used the Moulin as a base for our wedding a few weeks ago. We had a Friday night dinner here for 80 people and many of our guests stayed for the weekend.
The food was great - the beer from their brewery round the back was even better and the staff were fab.
Lots of our guests used the pub over the weekend and and also said the food was fab. Would recommend - go for a walk up ben vrackie to earn your pub lunch!

While staying locally in Pitlochry, walked up to the Inn for dinner. Great choice, just sat in the pub, very welcoming. Had the steak and ale pie ……….wow¡ Superb,

We went for a family meal. The welcome was not that friendly and inviting, even though plenty of tables available. Despite being before and enjoying the food, hence why we came back. The food was poor and the service was not much better. It is disappointing when Covid is used as an excuse, but you can’t use that as an excuse for food not being cooked properly. We witness a very selective approach to customer service where some were attended to very well, yet a few tables, no so much. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Please try to be more accommodating to the customers requirements and appreciate their needs. After several positive visits to the Inn. I was very disappointed with my recent visit due to the attitude of one individual staff member. After asking for bar snacks the response was rude, a at unnecessary and arrogant. I will not be returning.

Just returned from a relaxing 5 night break with my sister and elderly parents. We had two standard Doubles (single occupancy) and Drovers Rest (room designed for old or infirm people as it has a wet room and on the ground floor).
We ate in bar 3 of the 5 nights and all the meals were fantastic. We had lots of advice from the friendly staff on places to visit in the area. The rooms are old and quirky but that’s what we like anyway (oldest part of hotel is 1695). We would rather stay in an independent family run hotel than a big corporate chain hotel where all the rooms are identical.
The moulins own brewed beers are fantastic and selection of whiskeys is second to non.
We will be back in October and can’t wait.
Just want to do a shout out to all the staff we had dealings with from managers to cleaners and all in between. Keep up the fantastic work that made our stay most enjoyable and memorable.

Charming inn in the village of Moulin, near Pitlochry. Visited twice during our stay. Traditional style bar where we enjoyed great pint of cider. Went next evening for a meal in the hotel restaurant and food was delicious. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for one night. I was a little disappointed with the room. We booked a Superior room and it felt Standard to me. The decor is very traditional. The staff were ok, but very matter of fact. The really good thing about this hotel is the food. We had an evening meal and breakfast and all the food was great quality, well cooked and really tasty. I would definitely return to eat, but not sure I would definitely return for an overnight stay.

Returned with better half after using the hotel as a base for hill walking few years ago. Lovely hamlet setting and nice outdoors sitting area which understandably gets quite busy. We sat inside which was fine, with a nice atmospheric restaurant reflecting the age of the property. Good food at decent prices and friendly staff. A good option away from the bustle of the rather touristy Pitlochry.

Great to see this doughty inn open again, cosy feel, smell of woodsmoke, tasty food and a warm welcome. Very friendly, COVID-compliant, fast service.
