Great garden for a quick visit with cake and coffee. Lots of plants to buy and an excellent tea room. 100 years old this year.

With the sun shining, this garden was glorious. Interesting sculptures too. Very well maintained and heathers being developed too.

I am so pleased I visited this garden in the summer and on a glorious day. It’s absolutely beautiful- truly one of the best gardens I’ve been to. So much in a relatively small area. The rhododendrons were at their peak, so many truly vibrant colours, and the blue poppies were stunning and planted in huge swathes. The alpine gardens so pretty - I would go again tomorrow!
Lovely tea rooms with home made goodies and charming staff.
Don’t miss it!

Popped in to purchase Blue Poppies and not only were the poppies eye popping but the gardens are stunning. Jim is an excellent mentor for planting needs for the poppies and obviously runs a well oiled machine with all the beautiful plants and shrubs. Well worth my brief visit but will be back for sure. Many thanks

Beautiful gem of a garden. Stunning display of rhododendrons, azaleas and other Himalayan and woodland plants. At its best in spring and early summer, it now has more varied herbaceous plants for interest later in the year. The cafe is lovely too with excellent coffee and home made scones. Some indoor seating and lots of seats on the terrace and lawn overlooking the garden.

I should have read the reviews before we went. We might have found the car park and made sure we had room to enjoy the tea room! But we came for the gardens and they didn't disappoint. Small, but beautifully put together.
If I have a criticism it is that the maps available at the entrance aren't very helpful. One isn't going to get lost in 2 acres and so a small guide that illustrates where particular plants of interest are and a bit about the specific collections would be helpful and allow for a fuller appreciation of what is there. This is, after all, a gardener's garden and not a casual visitor's garden.

On the edge of town was this wee gem, it had a rather large gardens to walk around with a beautiful varied selection of flowers and trees, we particularly love the rhododendrons and the poppies, there was also a cute wee pond with tadpoles. It had uneven ground in certain areas, so maybe a wheelchair user would struggle, but as I am challenged with walking I did manage, but was careful. There were a lovely tearoom by the start of our walk, we sat on the terrace and had tea in wee teacups, scones with a wee pot of jam each, and the pear and fresh cream sponge was simply delicious, I would definitely recommend this place to visitors of Perth, or anyone who loves flowers, always looking for volunteers, but I live too far away, or I’d would have in a heartbeat

A wonderful, albeit relatively small garden beautifully maintained and a real credit to the National Trust for Scotland and the gardening staff. Have visited several times in recent years and it just gets better. Visit in May if you can to see the spring-flowering shrubs or in autumn when the foliage assumes its autumnal splendour - the maples in particular can be magnificent. And as a bonus, the garden is slowly being re-developed and most plants are labelled, and if not the friendly and helpful staff are only too willing to assist in identification.

Hello, when we visited we had to leave our dog in the car (in the shade) but maybe it would be worth asking at the office (just inside the gate). I think dogs should be allowed - they are much better behaved than some 'small people' I noticed on our last visit! I hope you have luck - maybe if you carry your dog -- I don't know but I don't hold out much hope, I know there's a beautiful walk at the Bridge - parking available too - and another walk behind the car park on the left about 200 yards before the bridge. Hope you enjoy Branklyn - it's gorgeous

Dogs are not allowed but last I heard they may be tied to the gate if they don’t cause a nuisance.
