We have been to Birmingham many times so this was something a bit different.
It was nothing special but it was OK. They stopped to pick up additional passengers but didn’t turn off the commentary so it was out of synch which was a shame.
Most of the route isn’t particularly interesting.

Found the whole experience with them disappointing
Firstly their website hasn’t updated their operating times since 2022 and they haven’t updated social media since 2023, so I wasn’t even sure that they were still running.
When I reached out to them to ask if they were I got a reply “yes” no further offer of information about booking/ availability/ prices/ times etc - just yes
So when I reached out again the next day to check that they would still have space that afternoon I was told yes. Only to wait and for the boat not to turn up! When I called I got told it had been cancelled
I think it’s pretty poor service not to message people who have enquired about space or even put a sign up - just not turn up, but clearly they dont put that much effort into their business if they cant even update their website/social media

Another way to see Birmingham. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Nice commentary and a relaxing cruise of just over half an hour. Lots of history and old buildings along side graffiti and new construction and developments. Guys who ran it were great helping me on and off the boat, I have mobility problems, and it was easy for me to get in and off.

Bad service, bad treatment and a tour that is really not very pleasant. Little to see, the water in the canals is filthy with garbage and they did not respect the price published on the internet with a package for families (2 adults plus 2 children)

We took a narrowboat cruise fro Sherborne Wharf opposite Bridley Place whivh lasted just over an hour. The boat is comfortabel with good visibility and a small bar. The recored commentary kept us informed throughoyut the trip. I t was a fsacinating way to view a big city.
There are multistory carparks within a few hundred yards of the wharf.
Tip - if you are videoing the trip, try and get a seat at the bow - that's the front to landlubbers!
Good value for money.

It was a nice enough canal boat trip. Staff were friendly and taught you a bit about the canals. Not all the scenery was the best but worth it if you enjoy a boat ride.

A clean canal boat would be a good start. Our seat was gashed open with the sponge missing. Laminate on the side of the boat was cracked, split and missing. Paintwork was grubby, cobwebs around some of the frames. The carpet was a very 70's design and looked it's age too very stringy in places. Automated commentary, dull , droning repeated facts. If your in to modern Graffiti and looking at new build housing of hideous design , this is the cruise for you. We were warned the canal is very narrow in places and to prove a point our boat hit the sides a couple of times with quite a crunch. Maybe someone new at the helm. In all, a boring trip aboard a dirty unkempt unloved vessel.

Just awful. An hour trip to just see rubbish tips and new apartment blocks. Absolutely not an experience to see more of Birmingham. Canals were filthy too. There was no effort to make it interesting. Waste of money. £10 per person is a rip off.

We hired the barge named Jericho for 3 hours Saturday evening to celebrate my daughters hen party and wasn’t disappointed!! Jackie, George and Daz are lovely friendly people. Jackie and George (the bar staff) were incredible and helped to keep the party vibe going, laughing along with us when we were playing our ‘hen games’. Daz the skipper excelled at what he does.
The balloons and decorations made the barge look extra special.
We really couldn’t of asked for anything more !
