A variety of outdoor life between the houses
ago de 2021
Daisy Dip is part municipal park, part 'wetland' full of youngish trees and boggy ground. There are enough tarmac paths to get about, but some are steep for a wheelchair. The playground was rebuilt in early 2021, but vandalised so now temporarily closed (even if people do sneak in!), and there is also a basketball court just east of Lobelia Road. Some of the pictures here are technically in the adjacent Bassett Wood (private, but with legal access). So you have trees and open space, paths and bog all in the same area. From the western end of Bassett Wood to the eastern end of Daisy Dip is about a mile.

Disappointment
ago de 2018 • Família
Walked here on bank hol Monday as children have enjoyed this playground before, but found it locked and overgrown. No signs to say why or whether it will open again. 😞

It's a bit of park!
jul de 2017 • Casais
Daisy dip has been a play area for local kids for as long as I can remember. Nothing very special it's just a short walk albeit steep paths. A green space.

Little Park

Nice little Park in the middle of housing estate. Bit random but nice enough to walk through when you're fed up of buildings.

Dog poo

Been a few times and live very close. It would be nice if some people could have some respect and pick up there dogs poo. Some parts are like a mine field.

Whatever happened to Daisy Dip?
ago de 2015 • Família
On a trip back to the old country from Australia and took a look at my old stomping ground Daisy Dip. I couldn't believe how this place has been neglected. Overgrown bushes, trees and weeds and definitely dodgy from a security point of view for anyone brave enough to walk through. Almost completely obscured from the road on one side. Having said that the grassy area looked like it had been maintained to an acceptable level and soccer could have been played there no problem. As a child living in Carnation Road I played here on a daily basis so I was particularly upset by the overall look of the place and I wonder if kids still play here.

a magical little valley
jul de 2015 • A sós
Hidden out in north Southampton this small little valley is an amazing little urban jungle with deep almost impenetrable undergrowth on each side of the path and yet house and are only about 100 yard away on each side start. The west side is extremely wild and end up in a more normal park to the east, if your in Southampton I think this is a most.
